Sorry Stratman, I'm probably doing something dumb but I just cannot get the HA candles right on the THV template.

I have done as you said and changed the candles to my background colour and it now looks like this:

in the properties of MT4 change the chart to line chart,(not candle or bar) then go into the colour section and change the line graph to no colour

As an improvment to the early 6 minichart, here we have one template that have six minichart on four different time frame.
As you trade in the main window, you can roll down window1 to either view 1 or 2 time frame of the other currency pair.

This is because a setting for candles on foreground is set to true. Have a look at the other tab on the chart properties .. (where you set the colors choose the other tab) and unselect chart on foreground.

What remains unsolved for the moment is the integration of the Trix overviews for the various currencies. Is this possible too?

From the top of the blue box to the bottom it is apprx. 150 pips,
now to figue out the rest of the charts.
use the fibo with caution I think its right

Excuse me for lack of posting this week. I have been contracted to run a training course next week and preparing the course notes this week.

This is the project I was part of last year. My specific programming job was to rewrite the operator interface for Dryer 3 in preparation for Dryer 4 being added to the same control room.

The programmers like me have now moved on so the baby is now in the hands of the site personnel. The training course is to teach how the automation software for the existing plants and new Dryer works as an aid to solving any future problems (in-house).

Plus, it's a good chance to catch up with some friends. I was an employee of the factory for almost 10 yrs.

While waiting for some software to install, I took a counter-trend trade and recorded it live to explain how I approached the entry and exit.

After making the video, I realized that I had made +40 pips instead of +50 pips. Thought I should mention it as I don't want to mislead anybody.

How grunty is your computer Rob. I have a dual core but find the template you are using causes 5 to 10 second freezes. I have isolated it to this template. Might be time for an upgrade.

Here's a video of my pc resource use with MT4 and the dashboard. This is a 2-3 yr old pc so most people will have better results?

Thanks Rob. Very helpful. My computer is pretty much the same specs as your but my dual cores are working close to 100% all teh time and the 2 MT4 platforms I am running are sucking up 300K and 180K of RAM. I'm thinking I will do an XP re installation over the weekend and clean up the shop. Thanks again

While I was watching your video, I noticed you are not more using Ichimoku, didn't you ? Does it depends from the template you use, or you just found you can also do without it?

As I get more experience, I remove more indicators from my main chart as I can 'see' what's happening from pure price action. After all, indicators are built from price action history. Given enough 'screen time' you too will become better at 'seeing' and the distraction of indicators will become less.

When I do videos, I try to include moving averages etc so people can get more of a sense of what's happening. I personally only use the moving averages on my mini charts. The moving averages on the mini charts are more accurate. The MA's on the main chart are an approximation of each timeframe MA.
