DislikedI do talk about it in the thread.
its more complex
stay with the 30 and 5 untill you know the system
when you do put a chart on the 1 min
and use it when the other two are moving in the same way
its just to really refine enteries and exits .. more the enteries
(triggers and fire doors: enteries and exits)
but the 30 & 5 min is all you need to make a lot of pips
cheers

DislikedHi Teb,
[font=Times New Roman][size=3]Thanks for your speedy reply. Can I ask you a couple of questions regarding how you run your profits? [color=blue]Lets suppose you get a trigger and you put on your two lots. You then go over +10 up so one trade is now fulfilled and the other is running its profits with stop loss now at break even. Now, if this trade goes say +40 up and retraces back a little forming a pullback to the EMA, would this trigger another new trade for you even though your previous trade...Ignored
DislikedI trade AU and EA and would advise that to trade them during Asia with a short term trend following method is unlikely to make you happy.
The suggested 8-10 gmt hours correspond with the opening trend for Europe so it really adds an edge to a st trend extraction method. I actually find that 7-10 can work quite well but its for a different methodology and it permits more market slop than this does.
I trade longer term trend following as well and will fill during the asian hours but I'm looking to get favourable positions from countertrend retracements...Ignored
DislikedHi TEB,
Accurate simple system. Thanks for the share.
I have been wondering why the times are so important. From the testing I have done, trades outside of your recommended times are much less likely to succeed. Is it because the markets tend to lack direction outside these hours?
Also what do you think of trading the AU in the Asian session? Has this worked
at all for you in the past?Ignored
