nasdaq did cancel trades of stocks that moved 60% from 2:40-3:300... probably cause the people on the 'right' side of the trade made more money or something

just "programmed event" - perfect timing.. now after Big Bank regulations, they'll cover and HFT, ALGOS, and eventualy if you are making a money Shorting, then you'll go under "supervising"

Or the reverse %.

Looks like it may pull back, until the news. Then hit the pivot again turn south, once more toward 120. That'll give the new government plenty of selling power to other countries, to boost spending.

this PA is pretty wierd..even i miss all the 1200 pips yesterday just imagine a retrace of 700pips from yesterday ..omg this is crazy

Hey People...
Is it possible to program a [Take Profit] setting to automatically become a [Trailing stop] ?

I am using Meta Trader 4...
If there is a way, I would love to know.

It didn't affect the Dow only. There was a 300 pip 5m bar on GY at 7.45 BST.

I shouldn't laugh; there will have been thousands of traders wiped out by that move through no fault of their own. No one can reasonably expect a 300 pip move in 5 minutes.

This is actually a really good point. And lends weight to the shake-out-then-buy theory.

130 could indeed be the bottom, though I think we'll retest somewhere near there at some point before going higher.
