Expert advisor education resources needed

Hi! I'm new to this forum, but I already know that this is a very active and helpful community.
I don't know where else to ask for such resources, so... Does someone has some kind of "expert advisors for dummies" ebook, or some kind of reading that can help me???
I'm now interested in automated trading, after years trading manually, time is not on my side.
I would like to learn everything I can about expert advisors, how they work, live and die... Optimization, settings, testing (in all possible ways), etc...

I hope there's someone out there who can help me in this new journey.

http://www.mql4.com/ and http://www.mql5.com/ are the official MQL4/5 community sites with a lot of free expert advisors and also a free e-book on MQL4 programming. It's a good start if you want to learn more about EA programming.

Coders Guru also did a nice tutorial. I think it might be either on his site or on tsd.. might be here too if you search for it.

It was a few hundred pages but broke it down relatively easily for someone determined to learn it.
