Sorry for the newbie question, but having difficulty downloading Neo's zip template - any insights would be appreciated

I have gone to the "paperclip" tab for the download [not the post]

Used "save target as" as well as "save" to send to my computer

However [both instances] when I try to extract, it states "folder is empty" Additionally, clicking on folder states "windows cannot open, folder is invalid" The size of folder on my computer states : [796KB] [Download says 832]

I am using Vista if that helps....................Thanks

I did read through posts and seen all video posts but did not find (or I have miss it) when does setup becomes invalid. Say we get the setup and have 1 pip above signal candle our buy stop. Price starts to go up and down in further consolidation or even form an opposite setup. When does your first buy setup becomes invalid and you back of the trade removing your pending order. Is there the rule?

is anyone of you that are trading this setups also chacking wether swings make HH/HL and LH/LL and trade setups only in the direction of the trend?

Many thanks for your xi-dashboard. Is there a version that list the Tokyo range inside the dashboard instead of listing it on the chart. Please post the version if available.

I have the template on FXDD (GMT-3) but can't find how to get the session open/close lines at the correct place on chart--If I change one will others follow to right place or do they all have to be changed? Help! Paul

Thank you Big E, thank you everyone who has contributed to the thread!!! My trading method has changed overnight. I have my own system based around donchian channel and Price Action on bigger time frames but when the market is not trending it is annoying to wait for a good setup. With this system I don't have to wait anything!!! Only today on GU alone 150 pips and I cannot believe I am using stochastic

My pairs: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, EUR/JPY, CAD/JPY

Hey Paul, here's what you need to do:

 

  1. Xi Dashboard: Leave the same, it will auto adjust to the beginning of the day
  2. Xi AsianSession: Adjust the OpenHour to 0, or 1 (whichever is the correct setting to reflect 22:00 GMT on your broker). CloseHour should be set to 6 hours after that.
  3. Xi VLines: Adjust the VLine1Hour to reflect 16:00GMT, whatever that may be on your broker
  4. ant-GUBreakout: The only number you need to adjust here is "GMT shift". Sounds like you may need to adjust yours to 3. Try that and then look at it, if it lines up with the AsianSession indicator, you'll know it's right.

These 3 settings are very simple to do...just make sure you know what the correct GMT time is and you'll be set.

The indicator generated an alert with a dot to indicate a fractal, meanwhile the MT4 fractal showed no fractal.

Not sure which indicator you are referring to. If you're talking about the Fractal Support and Resistance indie...I'm not aware of an alert that it sounds, as it does not have the option. If you are using the template I have created, the Fractal S/R indie mimics perfectly the native Fractal indicator that comes with MT4.

Hello

When I saw Jim was taking part in this thread I knew I should take a look, Big Jim being one of the good guys after all.
So last night I watch the videos and tonight took a trade using those rules, I have not read the whole thread and looks like things might have moved on a bit but none the less so far it has worked out okay for me.

I was more than a bit on edge entering this trade right around the whole number but none the less stoch turned down and the trade gave me a lazy 34 pips, chart shows trade just before entry.... is it okay to post charts? nobody seems to do that in this thread, maybe your all busy in the chat whatsit thingy!

How's it going buddy? Great to hear from you and thanks for the kind words, always enjoy hearing from you. This is a great method worth the study, go over the videos a lot, there is a lot to be gleaned. The people on this forum are great, they have been pulling some serious pips, especially the last few nights. People like neo and the other expierenced traders. I'm still way behind on where I want to be, but this is a thread worth spending time in. All the best to you and look forward to you being profitable with this.

Unfortunately, that function is not currently included in the dashboard. The TDR value can give you something similar but it is based off the midnight hour of your broker so it will not always be the same.

Do u know who I should message to have myself added to the skype room ? Is there more than 1 room ? I remember reading something about a separate room to trade CH 23.6 level.

Hey there, it is only one Skype room...started by carlen. He originally started it for the 23.6 Fib retracement trade at LC, but it has been taken over primarily by LO traders trading the CH method only. It is most active from around 2am EST till 6am or 7am EST, during the prime London hours.

To be added to the room, just let Carlen know you want in.
