There is NO -GAP.. we touch the LTL at 142.60 before we bounced BACk.. but YES.. we are bouncing b/c of GREECE Bailout..

This is another pitchfork. This one is daily. So far it hasn't broken through this one, which is @ support-what a cowinkadink.

Although 5pm EST MT4 brokers opened with a seeming 40/50 gap up, PA returned down to close that "gap", and made the newer lows that PA looked to be getting to on Friday's close. Note the moves down were on very low volume.

Japan's on holiday, yet even the slow moving PA travelled 100 pips down. Most of Europe is apparently closed Monday, so let's see if any Swiss or Frankfurt trading moves sterling. Not sure of what to expect between the Greece package (EURUSD's travelled 130+ pips - a rarity in Asian trading); chatter of impact to USD due to the BP oil spill could be a factor too.

I'd wager GY will see a further push down to at least the (orange) TL about 142.65 in the next 60-90 minutes and be hit with stopping volume and bounce, but hard to say if it'll be enough to trajectory it upwards - am going to guess no for now. And if it heads further south, it'll be for another 100 pips (over London's session) and another attempt at stopping volume. (Although you'd think with the euro rescue package helping the UK's $300M+ exposure to Greece, that would be (short-term) bullish for sterling) Given the low liquidity today, perhaps not trading is the best move, as the swings could be big and stop killing.

Amazing, but with more than half of the worlds markets closed, I managed to increase my NAV with 0.565% in the last 6 hours by trading GY and UC.

Now I'm short again GY 1.4339

UK Elections
US Job Report

Double whammy on Friday for these 2 events.

I'm just starting to have an inkling that momentum is shifting to Cameron and the Conservatives. I've heard all the rhetoric about hung parliaments, but it would not surprise me to see this one won outright. One thing is certain; Brown is gone. The question will be the make-up of the Lib Dem Vote; if they have taken traditional Labour voters, then it would bode well for Cameron I think, as traditionally Conservative voter turnout is high.

If this scenario plays out and the jobs report is as good as everyone expects, we could see a major rally on Friday.

It's how i'm playing it anyway. But for now a nice drop into the 13x.xx would be great.

Yes, it was wishful of me ... was hoping it'd surpass the top of the bear bar 5 bars ago - not sure if it officially is a bearish engulfing or not. I also find that at this time, the trend that is in play, often at least carries us to the FTSE open, and at least into the first 30 min. Just not sure we have any trend yet though ...

Am also watching UJ - 93.8 looks to be holding rather well, just need to get over a minor TL and above the DPP (although my DPP on the chart may be wrong - the indi gets confused the 1st day of the week)

I closed GY, now long CU @ 1.0150. Thinking I should let this go for a 400 pip gain, but I'm not sure how the Louisiana oil spill will effect CAN, or commodity currencies in general.
If anyone has ideas, I'm open for it.

With the bounce off Support, put in longs @ 143.11. Stop right under support.
