how do i stop a an EA

Hi I have an EA which uses dll function is there any way of stopping it from connecting to the internet.

Basically 2 months ago I subscribed to this service and since had no problems it works great I have paid for 2 years as it worked out cheaper. I can only use it on 2 PC's (home pc and Laptop) at a time.

I have recently upgraded my vista to 7 and I re-installed the indicator. When you install the indicator it asks for a 30+ key which I input it works for a few days then I get message back saying error this code is not valid, the code still works on my Laptop but I cannot get it to work continually on my home PC.

Without mentioning the provider at this moment in time has not been great will not answer my emails, but wants me to pay again for a 3rd PC and I just think it’s unfair.

I have explained what has happened but to this day I'm not getting anywhere.

Is there any way I can install the indicator and stop it from contacting the host provider or not?

Even if there was a way, I would hope nobody on this forum details it in public. Then others, less ethical could crack the EA and use it for free.

My recommendation is to stay on top of the vendor and perhaps complain to Forex Peace Army who seem to advocates for problems like this.

Well you can disable dll calls in the indicators properties but I'm not sure how this will help fix your problem.

I would imagine the vendor is just trying to protect their intellectual property.

They have no way of knowing if you're a genuine customer who's simply upgraded their system, as in your case, or some unscrupulous scammer who's trying to get a freebie. I can see their point I guess.

Just keep banging away at them. Im sure the fact that you've paid for 2 years in advance shows your genuine intentions.
