Thinking about this a bit more.

Low capital trading of this kind is a bit like trading odds on a horse race (i.e. backing and lying races that go in-play). If you have ever used a betting exchange and traded the odds, its very similar to that.

3) I do not dispute this point, the few investment advisors that I know (those of my local bank), only work as intermediaries to implement all decisions made for the Buy/Sell of each currency in the Forex market, do not perform analysis, and tips on operations.

As I said before, I just want to learn and details of operations that excel is attached as a sample of what I would like others to share to analyze results. Doesn't every market offer the same opportunity to overleverage and take excessive risk? Maybe not with the same small starting capital but proportionately the risks are the same I would have thought.

A casino might be a better venue for your venture, or I think someone else mentioned a race track? Both are more fun that watching price go up and down on a chart, that's for sure!

To turn 200 into 2000 all depends on circumstances. It's totally possible to do and I'm a product of it.

In 2007 I turned a mini acct from $300 to $2800. At the same time I turn a very well funded full contract acct into .... well lets just say it was an amount that enabled me to retire from my bank job of almost 16 years.

Circumstances played a huge part because in 2007 all my brokers offered 400-500 leverage and in 2007-2008 the Eur/Usd and Gbp/Usd trend was soooo strong in a day that you didn't have to guess what which way the market will be heading. It was as if I put my entire hand on Black (poker term) and let it ride. The average month was 4000-5000 pips a move per pair. Add in an overly ignorant trader coupled with very high margin, well funded acct, and a little luck and you have me standing on a podium as the poster child of forex traders of the past. lol

Todays market makes it a little tougher to flip your equity. With margins down. regulations up, and pairs that average 300 high volatile ranging pips a month movement, it is possible to flip your money but it will take an inexperience trader years at this point.

A few people have edged round it. Jhig basically said it. If you are a gambler, Forex is for you. I'm not condoning gambling especially its negative connotations. Lots of people buy lottery tickets. If they were properly educated and knew the return per unit of currency they are using they should take blind gambles on Forex, roulette or even horse racing. It's just that the lottery is the only medium that pays millions for a unit stake.

An educated gambler, let's say speculator, would learn to trade and take educated risks. Just like I did at Haydock. £20.00 gambling money, £20.00 beer money. Money management. (I won, on the day, by the way).

It is not soo difficult..lol

Borrow $10,000 from your bank. Make at least very easy stress free 26% ROI for a year. At the end of the year you bring your 10,000 + 8% interest back to your bank. Now you have $2000 real money XD

That's it !

Congratulations! you have made 900% a year !!

it looks like way in hindsight but I can assure you that you cant do this in real time.. just as you know with anything that has such a huge profit.. will also be tied to a huge risk.. the point of trading is to simply skew the profitability distribution of trades into profit and control the risk aspect.. now dont get me wrong I bought an uranium holding company when uranium went from 10 -120 bucks in something like 3 days.. this was in 07 I believe.. and made close to 1000% on investment .. but it was a complete fluke.. dont expect that to happen often and dont expect to control it and be able to predict it...

your saying you want to be a trader cause this is what traders do... and not an investor.. and you only wanna trade 3 months out of the year.. and make 1 years worth of income.. sounds like a get rich scheme huh

That's right, I was reading material analysis about the evolution of market behavior, and changing a lot in these last years, is becoming more unpredictable. A direct relationship: the greater popularity of the market (more and more new investors) = greater difficulty of winning.
