I can't decide on this baby yet... charts a bit conflicting right now, waiting for less indecision.

see, you can't decide. definitely nooby.

anyway the chart is a mess. it's retracing now and it should "range" between 142.80/143.16 and 140.55. there is no clear direction yet.

Yeah that's kinda what I'm seeing right now... definitely need to see some consolidation. Resistance is near, but I don't feel we're ready to drop again yet... it's the waiting game for now which is fine by me as long as we set ourselves up for a good sized move by Thursday or so.

Also... although I'km getting ahead of myself here, IF we drop and crack through 139.00 that's also the 4H 200sma which I see as quite significant. Doing a premature fib extension right now would target 136.20 or so...

Just food for thought.

Hate to jinx myself but purely imo this upward pa looks tired. If it would just do a simple 20 pip retrace it could go up easier I think but it refuses.

Going to hold this short from 75 just a little longer.

Watch out for the move to 141.60 and then a push to 143.00.

Looking a bit suspect.

This question is for traders that have continously grown their account... What do you think is more accurate. Technical or Fundamental analysis or both? Why?

I am new and I really would like to hear some sincere and contructive feed back from those that are willing to help others like myself to become better Forex Traders.
Luck has no place in trading. Leave that for the poker table.

Well in my humble opinion you cant trade one without the other... I tend to follow technicals 90% of the time and add only 10% when the indicators come out like NFP which really moves the market or interest rates announcements.... I use 8 charts per currency 5 m 15m 30m 1h 2h 4h day and week all with moving averages and stochastics this way i know when a cureency will do certain moves like corrections and retracements.

but this forum is great because like me I am more prone to use technicals is good to hear the opinion of teh fundamentalist traders...

Depends on the type of trader you are. I am a 4 hourly swinger and will try to catch every intraday swings..I dont care where the currency is going and tend to ignore funnymentals.

So Myrza, GBPJPY seems to be on a sideways move now, difficult to decide which way it is going to break.

I dont know actually..2 important levels now..upper fractal 142.02 and lower at 141.6. Convincing break of these levels will decide our movement. Still holding my longs.
