Uncle trumphet. I will agree everyone is guessing now.I'm myself take a stap for the downside.but it looks no good The best side is no side right now.I will reavaulate when we break to 145. And if we break higher it will be short lived with spikes

I had planned on tp at 144.50 but this move looks pretty strong. Any other longs out there have any charts on where this might be going?

I can only see 148 is next.below that I've got no idea. 148 is a sell oppertunity.backside of monthly TL ,untested res level and 161.8 FE target of this upmove.I will post later a chart

The UK election is over 3 weeks away, so Sterling is likely to fluctuate between now and then. Various daily polls will skew the GY PA.

Here are the 3 possible scenarios:

  1. Tories win a majority - Bullish Sterling.
  2. Labour win a majority - Bearish Sterling.
  3. No overall majority, (hung parliament) - Bearish Sterling.

The bookmakers in the UK are expecting on a Tory majority and I never go against the bookies.

It's Spring, a new UK government likely, economy 'recovering', Noises from BoJ etc.

Beginning to think Raza and PK may have it right. We could spend the next 3 weeks seeing Sterling being pumped up before any squeeze.

I'm agree with what you stated out. That's why this week we may see 145 and a spike up near 146.75 there...
Base on techinical, price reaching 148 is a critical point, where the main trend is changing to up...Time will tell...

I've just re-evaluated my charts. Here's what my indicators show per period...

Weekly: Strongly Bullish
Daily: Bearish
H8: Weak Bear
H6: Weak Bear
H4: Weak Bull with Bear starting.
H3: Weak Bear
H2: Bull starting
H1: Bull weakening with Bear starting.
M30: Bull fairly strongish
M15: Indecisive.

daily=weekly=monthly and min 300pips up and welcome 150 sooner or later...

but i could be wrong...let c what happen till end of this week...

stll hold my long from 142 area...
