sorry about the late post..

GU have seen reversal after effort to rise then follow by a sharp drop. falling short of the initial target (but hitting projection of 200%)

Incredible projection!!! I have been following your posts for 2 or 3 days. except EUR/USD analysis is not so perfect, your USD/CAD and GBP/USD analysis is impressive.

I love your charts indeed. Would you tell me how you set SL/TP? It seems you use fibo and atr. any others?

Morning all, I attached a 5 min GbpUsd Globex chart to look at. It looks like this drop is being accumulated. What do you all think?

So let's start! As i noticed from you the first ones is:
1.Sleep with the banks. I mean don't rely on volume during sleep time(it's not what you think)
2.Don't listen much to English guys, because they trying to wrap well-known patterns in VSA and sell their wraps to averyone.

Sonofsin5 .That does look like genuine strength but if this strength will carry forward or not is hard to say is because there is a resistance zone created by an Expanding Body right above the base of potential accumulation. One of two things are bound to happen here

1. Price pushes through the resistance zone on high volumes and widening spreads. In this case there may or may not be a test

2. Price moving up in the resistance zone and getting completely rejected. If this happens then a NDB and Upthrust should be seen plentiful as the time frame of the chart is 5 mins

Let us know what happens next and how the action unfolds.

For TP, I will use available swings base on what i term "backslash project".

All these 3 fibos which form a clusters are all measure off from

X to B
A to B
C to D

I think i did explain to you once if i m not wrong.

EDIT: so for estimate of which how far up it can go to hitting any one of those projected levels depends on ADR, for GU's is around 135pip. So dragging the mouse with the crosshair I can see that 135 pip will hit my my projection at 261.8 (for simplicity let's refer to the X to B projection but any of the above projections will overlap too). But of coz you may choose to be conservative & aim lower.

As for SL if you are a fibo trader you would have enter on that 23.6% retracement level & your SL will be the low. Pros & cons here as u get to have a early entry & more profit potential but u may risk a shakeout if dealer stop hunt all the way below the low, (watch out for critical news release)

2nd entry seems better but u may have a higher risk or lower your risk (SL) but risk getting stop out.

3rd entry is a break out trade in which you have to endure wider drawdown.

in anycase it depends on your risk tolerance & confidence.

PS: As for my EURUSD analysis, what i see is still accumulation to me but as i mentioned I prefer to see more strength at critical fibo retracement levels before i make any move.

Yes, you told me before. I used to think fibo is just a tool to forcast the s/r. I feel in debt with you. Hope someday I could have somthing valuable to share with you.

We are seeing a lot of mix signals but it seem more strengths are appearing with a shakeout on massive volume....

PS: I still prefer to see further retracement to critical fibo levels to make more sense out of this chaos.

After a sharp drop to 23.6 retracement level as mention in previous post. GU is seeing some support...further weakness in any supply may be more indicative & hopefully more pickup of strengths on downbars at this level.

Overall today is a mix bag of signals for VSA. with strengths built up on earlier session after UK trade balance news & conflicting signs of weakness on the way up b4 it get mark down sharply.

Hope we all learn from today.

The two bar up thrust you labeled is in the wrong place. If that was appearing at the same level where you drew the down trend line, then you would really have something.

Also that no demand bar is one of the "Ugly" ones. It closes higher but makes a lower low than the previous bar. Making a lower low and then closing off of it is a sign of strength. The fact that the next bar is up confirms this. This is more like a hidden test. Which makes sense as they would be testing the supply underneath the trend line (support)....

I knew the UT wasn't very strong thats why I didn't enter but, I didn't pick up on the 'Ugly' ND.

in chart, i realized if I am right, all dips are bought last week and marked up from last thursday to today's rectracement. Do you think the decrease will continue all through the week ?

also, please look at on last friday the narrow middle closed down bar with very high volume wihin 3 weeks, doesnt it mean weakness ?

LOL.. yes, that is what I mean.

I would listen heaps.. just evaluate every thing they say and apply it to your own situation.

It is pretty clear to me they have not traded forex regularly or they would not say some of this stuff. (they'd also be broke )

I have some (I believe) better CDs somewhere on understanding Volume, from a Forex trader point of view. They are about as old as metatrader 3 from memory.

These CDs will not tell you the same story as the guys in the CDs supplied here and you will not get precise entry points based on volume either.

They may be helpful to some, so I will find them and upload them for anyone that wants to check it out.

the Fibo that seems to be set for the move, looks back to front to me.. is that right?

I can see it is set by some auto software. if the move is up, draw it from bottom to top. If the move is down, then draw it from top to bottom.

Please just ignore this if I am wrong but I don't think 23% should be below 68% retracing from an up move.

there is another fibo number that is pretty handy that can be added, 70.7 It seems to be one no one mentions and it is just about as important as the 61.8. In my experience it hits that number way more often than the 23 or the 50.

In this case.. I think that is where the decent came to a halt but I can't see your swing point.
