I guess the only differance may be that I will get out of a trade with a little profit and then get back in the same trade if the opurtunity presents itself and the conditions are correct, where I think you are saying that you prefere to leave your original stop loss intact for some time frame.

Great. It might be quite effective for "casino style" trading when you place bets against your dealer. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me this way.

As long as I give myself room not to be stopped out of a trade (say trade only about 10% of margin wit extremely wide stops or even no stop at all), I will ride my losses and watch them come back to positive territory. What goes down must come up.

It is crazy for Boris to think that winning has everything to do with "luck". I hope that was just a joke on his part! FX is one of the most structured, non-random markets I have ever seen. The only time it goes crazy is just before "major" news or periods of major uncertainty.

wow, who awakened this thread ?

the first post seems kind of naive to me...if i`m not mistaken, Boris is an analyst, not a trader.

Igrok made a very good rebuttal in post #16.
The worst thing I can be is the same as everybody else. I hate that.
