dropped internet connection alarm on MT4

Hi anyone know of an alarm that can be set to go off the moment you lose connection on your MT Platform,(something like a message flashing up on the screen) I know it shows it in bottom hand corner but you don't always notice it until too late!!!!!!! regards Jonmem

Tools > Options > Events > Enable > disconnect

If you enable the Events tab, you will get the standard event sounds.
Tools > Options > Events.

What I have done is replaced my Connect & Disconnect wav files with sound files that are more distinct, I have a rifle firing when the platform disconnects.

You do this by double clicking the sound file you want to replace and you will get a dropdown menu, choose other & place the location of your file here.

You can get the sound files off the internet, just google for them, or even make speech files. As long as they are wav files they will work
