Money-Manager - which broker to use?

Hi everyone,

I've been using Alpari for the last 3 years and I can't really complain about them too much for a bucketshop.

Anyway after years of frustration, I am now consistently profitable. I have a few friends who are interested in me managing their account and I believe that I will need a multi-terminal platform, to be FSA regulated (as I'm in the UK) and a Limited Power of Attorney (so I can get paid).

I can do all of the above, but I was hoping someone could share their experience as a money-manager with Alpari or any other broker for that matter.

If you don't need MT4, check out Oanda, they handle that pretty easy but powerful:

According to many traders, Oanda is a very reliable broker.

I use Interactive brokers, family and friends account method, and it is fantastic.

I am with Alpari UK on real account since one month and I can't say anything bad about them at all. Hope it won't change. But spreads aren't the best - I guess better spreads are in FxPro.com

Question is how much your account will be because if >10K then STP or ECN broker would be better choice for sure.

I don't want the license to manage money for other people, but I get approached about managing other peoples money due to my trading results. I know zulu pays per pip but is there any company that will pay like 20% on the returns made by the traders following my trades?

If your on Alpari, just open a PAMM account and manage accounts that way.

I've worked as manager at Avafx, LiteForex and Markets.com
In Ava you must have patience, and charge them all you have to do, but the payments are made regularly, very good.
Markets in the bureaucracy is bigger, but are a great broker.
Both use the MAM, which is a managing program that works in conjunction with metatrader. He condenses the bills into one, but the lots are divided between the accounts separately. Very good after you learn to use. There is little material on it, but the Help is much clearer, and there are good videos on youtube about it.
In LITEForex the system is pamm, horrible, little control over the bills, you do not know for certain who entered or left ... but the system is using, the broker is excellent, serving him well, and has no requirements for management.
