very unpredictable is the dark side of the force...

That's a hefty chunk of change to blow through though bro, sounds like you need a rethink on something. Probably don't need to hear it from me though.

On a side note does anyone have any idea how many full size lots you can trade on the 5 before the slippage sets in. Was just thinking about the scaleability..

Jankone, you make PA trading so damn simple! I am up to page 50 so far. I just took my first "with the trend" trade on guppy about 2 hours before NY open. I think the pinbar is kind of defective, though. Take a look:

Just good ole BB at 18/0/2.0

I am using CCI instead of RSI as per this thread: http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=149647

I like it because it adds a filter to the div. I hate losing trades. Anyway, have done well last week with jankoneM5.

Jankone,
Did you also take this 5m PB on UY (also almost identical PA on EY).
If not, what didn't you like about it that kept you out? Too small compared to the strong move up?
Past my bedtime btw so i didn't take it.

Steve.

Hi Jankone

Do you have any exit rules for this system?

Thanks,
Simon

Look what happens when you step away from your screen for 10 minutes after sitting there all morning.

This was a B/E trade for me. 10pip SL, +20TP, went to +15 then reversed.
I've just been reading some of Ryan's old posts and he said he never messes with a trade while its running. It's either TP or SL.
Now personally I don't want to let a +15 trade on a 5m chart go negative on me so I'm curious how you guys handle this, especially when with the trend.

Steve.

I am long:

CT, pin/div
also double bottom with div
1:1 R:R

update, went bad fast, bailed for -5 pips

update 2; CRAP. would've missed my stop by .5 pips and then hit tp!

For some reason, I just felt like I couldn't take this. Sure, it was right into 1.37. Maybe that was the reason. We'll see how it plays out.
