Do the market makers say in e/u move the market with 2000 lot orders?

Would a 2000 lot order in a major session during average volume be abnormal?

i think that buy with 2000 lots will move the market up if
1999 lots try to move it down.

Really ? Im just wondering if it would be abnormally large and how many pips it would move the market during "average" volume...

I realize this is subjective so dont give an estimate if have no basis for your response.

Pesonally i believe that not lots move the market but relationship between
buyers and sellers that happens during the same time.
Any other opinions?

By the way, I read about George Soros that he traded against national currencies and successfully depreciated their value. When he acted against Japan, it worked until Japanese government did intervention to raise the value
of their currency and George lost like 8 billions. I think this info can be found on the Internet too.

Depends on what you define a lot as. In retail that can be $1000/lot, 10k/lot, or 100k/lot. On the interbank lots are in $1m.

$200m on eur/usd during US morning could be consumed fairly easily without moving price. $2b? Thats gonna generate some movement unless you can entice some technical "suckers" into the market. How much movement is impossible to quantify because it depends on too many factors.
