Nice one Shaltay, I took the same one but on the gbp/jpy. They both had the same PA. I plan on holding mine for a while as well. Here's another that looks like it may end up netting a couple thousand. The usd/chf- I checked where we are on the higher timeframes and this is looking phenomenal. If not, I'll end up getting stopped out either at B/E or for a loss of 5 pips, I haven't decided yet.
And voila! If the usd/chf closes the 4 hour as such, this trade turns to gold in my book. Just call me the alchemist. lol It's time to enjoy this beautiful day. Have a good one everybody!

Sure thing brother! I was going back through the thread last night and noticed it again as well. Nice little bit of information. I'm sure it'll net me a few gains from time to time. I still love the solid looking PA though. I'm going to go through the charts this week on off hours (3-7 PM for me) and see how it does on a consistent basis.

Update on my trade... saw some traps occur so averaged a bit risk was low, gotta cut profits when it reaches 3600 as I gtg out...but this goes to show COUNTERTREND PINS ARE HARDER lol

Not exactly a pin but negative divergence called the short.

Not a Jankone trade. But is off S/R zone. I seem to remember Ryan trading a similar pattern, where the first bar closes outside the BB extreme and then the next bar opens outside but closes inside the BB. I doubt he'd take this after such a run higher and into 1.36... but it is working. I've been paying more attention to these patterns recently and may start demoing them.

As always, Ryan, if you check in here, feel free to comment/correct my thoughts...

it's a 2-bar pin, so i'll still consider this as a Jankone setup.
Looking at your chart, it seems to have RSI div too.

with about 10pip stop & that BB extreme setup, i think he'd take it.

agressive SL would be 10 pips right under 122 aiming at least for 21EMA (yellow)

Took a Short trade with PB following the trend on M5 and accepted a stop-loss of 9.2 pips when the M5 candle closed above the high of the pin bar.

My mistake: There were already signs of divergence and the lower band of BB was rounding up.

Resume: I will look for the next entry with the trend on higher TF, on M15 or M30.

pin + 50 fib at yesterdays low and S1 with trend but diddnt hold

...on to the next one...

would love to hear opinions why this wasnt an A trade, still training my eyes

I was tempted by that too..but my rules say wait for a touch and preferably a straddle of the 21ema..and I have had a bad run lately especially with marginal setups so being very picky.....but...that did look good and the down trend has been long and strong.

Seems that this is a mistake of the same kind which I did and described in my previous post. Now there are divergences on M5 and M15. Your bottom indicator shows it also. Still no div on M30.

Probably we should include it in general rules. It is better to avoid taking PB with the trend if you see any signs of DIV.

thx for your quick response, you are right, an 21ema touch would be better.
