Called the "Dr.Doom" they foreshadow trouble markets.
Marc Faber, Jeremy Grantham, Joseph Stiglitz, Simon Johnson, Niall Ferguson, Nassim Taleb, George Soros, Robert Shiller, Henry Kaufman, Barton Biggs, Jareda Diamonda ... they are talking about trend but why this is happening?!?

Yesterday I had a bad trading day. I feared to ride the trend and then fell into the traps. Losses weren't big but the dance was terrible. I was feeling bad, but music helps to overcome such moments

Wow, very quiet around here the last few days, and I hope everyone is quietly trading well. Have missed fti and hope he is well, but remember last year around this time that he enjoys his durian, so maybe the season has begun and this accounts for his silence -- lol. Trade well everyone.

Yep, not much of activity lately. I preferred focusing on trading rather than writing... The combination of both usually hurts my trading

While trading yesterday and today I noticed something - during the past months markets were very active and largely manipulated during news days and very dull and quiet during ordinary (no news) days. The last couple of days however we had no news and still descent price action. I couldn't trade last week due to some personal issues so it's not a longer term observation, but still... Anyone else felt the same?

@mytbo-Imho,it is important that you kept the loss to a minimum.
I cannot stress this enough not "feeling" it at times is natural, but not advisable.

Jacson101, I am trying to keep losses small all the time. I take profits between 10-30 pips, since I get out at the closest support or resistence. My strategy has been defensive up to now and that has prevented me from riding the big moves we saw in the EUR/USD down trend (now its a range).

Attacking is problem for me, since most of the times I add to a position I fall into a trap and it reverses and I get out at break even :s
I try not to let the profitable trades turn negative and tend to exit at reactions and then watch the PA continue in my direction.

I need to fight these scorpions of mine. Any advice would be helpful here

try waiting for retracements before adding , self control / discipline is key ...
