Wow, when you turn the corner and reversal gets going, you make some nice profits. During the night I got back to almost even and have +90 in open trades. Now the decision of when to turn EA's off. First red block on these buys would be a fairly conservative point to turn off I'm thinking.

I am opening a second demo account to test and compare. What I did was increase the entrance point of pink line plus ten and added to SL to 50. That means the high/low must go at least 10 pips beyond the pink line to enter. and then from that spot it would have to go 50 more pips to hit the stop loss. That is an extra 30 pips of play area for price to bounce around. So that adds an extra 10 pips to any profit and moves the SL further away. From my eyeball back tests that would have put most of the SL out of reach we would have gotten. If it tests out better than the other demo I have set with the 3.1 versions, I will post version 3.2 over the weekend. So increased the profit line and hopefully cut down on the SL. Still we are protected from big spikes.

If you turn off the stop loss on an existing trade, will the EA keep making additional trades every time price hits the pink line(+ or - 5 pips) or will it only enter one trade at a time?

This is a single entry EA. If you want a second entrance you need an EA with a different magic number or manually enter the trade.

I just had the EUR/USD open a buy 15 pips above the pink line. Price wasn't moving fast at the time so I don't think it was slippage. Shouldn't it open at 5 pips plus spread which would be 8 pips above the pink line? I'm using the 202 Sell High 4D 3.1 version EA.

I did not get any entrance in that pair?? The lines just change color so I put the sell EA on it this morning.

on the 3.0 and 3.1 I have the following pairs turned on:
SELLS aud/chf aud/nzd aud/usd Eur/gbp, eur/usd, usd/chf
BUYS aud/cad chf/jpy eur/chf usd/cad usd/jpy

This system is designed to have the EAs on most of the time in the direction of the trend. So we test it that way.

Sorry about that. The question was in regard to the 5 pip entry window where the EA will open a trade. When I look at the screen the 3 MA is offset 30 points (not sure why). On a four hour chart the actual place where the EA kicks in is quite obscure and not easy to see. I wondered if that 5 pip range could be shown on the chart. I had set it for manual confirmation. Thanks for all your hard work, and those that helped, I am no programmer so I'm not really sure if it's possible or not.

If you put the pink line on its thickest setting you would probably have the range. I put the 5 pip limit in so if price spikes the EA does not keep entering after a loss and then losing again. Yet when price comes back through the EA picks up the trade again. I try to limit so you can have only 1 loss per 4H candle. For example Monday GBP/CHF would have had multiple SL but was limited to one per 4H.

I don't think the 201 sell version 3.1 is working right. It opened a sell on the EUR/USD correctly but closed it way too early. It opened at 1.3692 and closed at 1.3642. It should have waited until 1.3609 (green line) to close. So it was was 33 pips early in closing. I'm using the default settings of 200 TP.

Check your candle for that period. I am having the same thing with the AUD/NZD. The stop was placed at 1.3131 but the highest the candle ever went was 1.3089. So it stopped out even though price never got closer than 40 pips. I will need to check the other positions to make sure.

The solution is to use the 02 series that doesnt take profit at the green line and you take profit manually. If price spikes you miss the big profit. If it doesnt it goes back up and you miss profit altogether. So you decide which way you should go. Many small profits or go for the big one.

You're right. I didn't look at my charts until after the candle had closed and line was pulled down by then. That's probably what happened (post # 66) before when I thought a trade didn't enter at the correct spot. I think I'm going to let EA's run until I get a signal in the opposite direction and see how it goes. So far + 134 since monday night.

I posted version 3.2 post 1 page 1. I added +10 to the pink line so price has to go 10 pips beyond the pink line to enter. This adds 10 pip profit to every trade taken. The SL was moved to 50 pips instead of 30. So far only the aud/nzd has hit the stop loss. (twice) However it has also profited two times on the way back so its loss has been minimal. Two SL for -100 two profits for +76 = -24. All trades in two+ days of testing (verson 3.2) with 3000 demo account showed a +.00275% increase of the account. Lot size is .10 or ten cents a trade. +8.25
The 3.1 running the same currencies and trades is down -.00394% -11.92

3.1 10 winners 14 losers -11.92
3.2 7 winners 3 losers +8.25

The third loser for the 3.2 was a usd/chf trade for -24.
The 3.1 had 4 usd/chf trades 3 were losers and one was a winner.
