Programming problem (Small)

Hi there !

I just wanted to know how I could get the returns from an indicator that dosent display in figures but colors ... E.g forex Freeway or trend direction line or some indicator that indicated the trend direction with a color not a word or number and then how to use its return to place an order...

Usually those colours mean something and can be translated into numbers. For instance on the Heiken Ashi indicator, the blue means HAClose > HAOpen and red means the opposite, so you get those values and check them in an EA and take the appropriate action.

So it is a matter of knowing the workings of the indicator and which buffers store which values and then experimenting and validating the results. It isn't easy, but possible.
