Yes, the real interbank market has better spreads, but you will never be able to trade on it.

That is not a pip, but a pipette, and the average spread is not two pipettes wide.
My point was, that you are all chasing shadows as long as you do not make realistic assumptions about the market available to YOU. The closest you can get to a real spot market is probably on IB FX, but even there you will find that their API is a minefield, and their liquidity providers still can play games with you if you become too successful. This has happened to me at least.
