Hi MY30,

Nice adaptation of Multiple Timeframe MA trading concept. Works well as a stand alone trading method and is also easily "cloned" onto other methodologies. Thanks for the info.

P.S. Perhaps you could post your charts with a white background - it's devilishly difficult to see what's happening on those black charts for some of us with "old eyes".

if i understand correctly you put 2 4weeklines on weekly and 2 2weeklines then you change tf to m15 and that's it? or what?

Original System is base on attached Article 4wk rule

Time Frame 15 M TF

This system is only using 2 line (2MA and 4MA) from the weekly chart
2 wk line and 4 wk line as the line on the 15M TF

Only Entry Buy or Sell when Price break 2wk line
Only Entry Buy or Sell when Price break 4wk line

Only Entry Buy or Sell when Price break previous 2wk
Only Entry Buy or Sell when Price break previous 4wk

SL 1/3 area from distance of Higher/Lower Price to 2wk line and 4 wk line

Using the Volume as the filter to measure the momentum of the valid breakout of the 2and4wk line

Keeps it the simple trading system and get the maximal profit

This is the simple system just KEEP IT The SIMPLE SYSTEM

The success of this system is not about to using the indicator or the template on the screen shot, but how do you understand of the concept that in side the article

1. use the 2ma and 4ma on the weekly TF as the line inside your chart on the 15M TF ( Don't forget this, this is my view of this concept base on 4wk rule article)

2. Using the volume to be your filter to measuring the momentum of the PA in the market (Quality technical analysis requires the right tool for the
right job).

3. be the flexible with your simple system (Michale N Khan - Be flexible. Follow the “spirit of the law” rather than the “letter of the law.” In other words, do not be so strict with your rules that
you miss the trend. Set trendlines and patterns loosely so that they can describe what is really happening in the market. Strict construction may be right according to the textbook, but may produce unusable results)

4. and let the market talk (Michale N Khan, If you cannot determine if it is saying
up, down, or sideways using simple tools and unambiguous interpretation, then find another stock to analyze. If you force your analysis, you will, in effect, be telling the market what to do. The market is the boss, not you )

5. Keep It The simply system

This is the basic article that i have been learning for last few month. This is the simple trading system base on this article, just using two line 2and4wk line trading system.

actually I'm not apply to you what i have right now (Templete and Indicator) its just only for this article attached that i get free from internet

Base on this article actually we are working at the weekly Price Action there are a bigger spread with large profit to catch in the market. I'm choosing the 15M TF to minimize stop lose and the spread of the market ranging.

This is the way to you to learning the article 1st. IF you understand what is the concept inside this article i guarantee you will know how to get the FISH. indicator has been there inside the your MT4,

man its like speaking to a bot... what you show it's a price channel and what you say' entry only.... and entry only...' it makes 2 channels meaning 4 lines !! so people if i dont get wrong he wont tell us what is the what...and therefore i guess we have to draw 2 lines (based on 4week high/low) 2 lines 2 week high/low on W1 then change TF to M15 ?!?! test on demo pls

Hi

Yes I understand how the 2MA and 4MA are calculated from the Weekly Chart. But what are you using to make these lines appear on the M15 chart?

Are you drawing them manually from the weekly chart or is there an indicator which is calculating this automatically.

I share this system not for the template and indi

1st step - Draw 2 horizontal line from weekly " 2MA line and 4MA line" this line is from the weekly Time Frame (open wk TF and find out the point of 2MA and 4MA)

2nd step shift to 15M TF - This is your working Time Frame and follow the entry rule above

3rd step read the system from Richard Donchian "It’s based on timeless logic of breakouts and that markets trend and will continue to do so" and Martin J Pring is The Price action "What constitutes a legitimate peak or trough?"

I see what you're doing, now. It isn't at all the system described in the pdf.

The pdf. is 4 week Donchian break out.

You take the Highest High and Lowest Low of the last completed 4 weeks and that is your channel.

If price goes above the channel you buy.
If it goes below the channel, you sell.

You can use the 2 week channel as a SL, if you want.

What you are doing isn't even similar to that.

If what you're doing works, great, but it has nothing to do with your pdf. you posted.

enclosure The 4 week Donchian break out "4wkrule" and 2and4wkline trading system, see explanation from reading the chart attached.

base on 4wk rule technical analyst we are using 2and4wklineTS on the lower TF "15MTF" also with same technical analyze from wk tf. Working on lower TF with the weekly period using Price Action method from Michael J Pring
and 4wk rule. 2and4wkline is consolidation from 2 technical analyst.
