DislikedBeing as opinions are being courted - here's mine. I must confess had I found this thread and I saw the Dashboard had all the stuff on it that is being requested for future versions then I probably would never have bought it.
Yes these features are all 'nice' but they are arguably utilitarian functions to apply to any number of systems & methods. The beauty of the Dashboard was in its focussed ability to support the traders workflow and decision process of the Natural Flow Stochastics and THV methods and Stratmans supporting materials made it...Ignored
finally have a few minutes to reply. First-of-all I want to say that I respect you opinion Hammernail. And I see where you are coming from. I just thought that what others and I have done by making suggestion about what bells and whistles we would like to see in the DB would make it a more versatile tool. If it had the potential of let-say, three different trading systems in one tool, for half the price of one of those systems alone. It might help out Stratman with the sales part of it. That would be a nice advertisement for the DB. I myself have combined it on a chart with the synergy trading system and with the IB indy, it helps with the C.H. "Natural Flow" method. I have noticed that where there is consolidation (Fractal marks) there is IB to be traded that confirm a bounce off the S & R areas. The way I see it, lots of choices is great. Pick and choose what works for you, then bag the pips. After all, there is not just one right system to use, but what works for you is the right one.
I really would like to help Stratman with getting more sales. He and the DB deserves it. Its a great tool, but at the same time, being a buyer from the beginning, I'd hate to see that I will have to pay more now. Wow, what a catch-22 deal. I asked stratman about making the TDI into a mini a long time back, Glad to see you have done so, and hope to be able to use it soon. Thanks for the space here to put my two cents in. and GLT to all.
