i think i might ditch 5min timeframe completely and use 15 as my lowest. 5 has not been kind to me

I came to the same conclusion a few weeks ago. Higher time frames and more patience lead to more profit.

on H4 tf on GU it is w very good setup to enter at 5454 with SL 5424 and TP 5626

use fractals to see this great setup

also on h$ TF ON USD/CHF : enter at 1.0743 SL 1.0731 TP 1.0825

There are bad days and some are good days. I just scalp at fractal extremes. 50 pips per day is good for me..but if i can get a home run ..much better. Just dont be greedy. I have closed my short on eu for 65..

4h is different depending on broker timezone, i dont see any upper fractal on mine since it was at 1.58.

i have also last fractal up at 5815, but i am speaking about the fractal down at 5429

if you take that fractal candle, you see that that candle was closed at 5454 and there is my entering point

to set my SL, i set it 5 pips lower of last fractal down which means at 5424

i dont have a fractal at 5429. i can see the bar that closed at 5454 though.

makes no difference anyway its 5min im looking to ditch, fractals or no fractals it doesnt seem to be working.

Karim and Ewo..you might want to try this cool indi for fractal scalping. but to me our eyes work better

thanks. what does it do, draw a line at the last top and bottom fractal?

might be useful when im at home but i mostly have to trade on a 10" netbook and i already have lots of vertical lines from all my pivots so might be too much on this small screen. easy enough to see on 15min anyway but useful to have a line sometimes.

yes ..should be good for m15 tf and above. But it only draw the levels in recent extremes only ..for a good scalp you will need to look at old levels too

and here is what i dont like about these fractals. just had a new one appear on 15min gu on the pivot. if i took the long now that the fractal has appeard, the move has already happened, its already gone up 30 pips and is now coming back down again, so i would have entered right at the point its coming back down. already missed the move by the time the fractal appears
