Hello everyone, I am new here and just getting used to the forex market. I trade a demo account on forex.com, and my knowledge is very limited. I have millions of questions regarding forex, and I hope to find some awnsers here.
My first question is in regards to the forex factory itself:
There are so many differant threads related to what newbies should read. Many of them are older and I feel like I have missed the boat. For instance, I have tried reading the j16 thread (I am not sure if any of you have heard of it), but I have gotten confused many times trying to understand it. Do any of you guys have any insight on which threads would be best to start reading. I think have the basics of technical analysis down pretty good (ie looking for a resistence/support level). I just have no idea how to do many other things. If any of you have the time to either give me some advice or show me where I can get it, I would really appreciate it.
Also some minor questions. I am a student in college, and at this point in my life I do not have enough money or knowledge to trade with a live account. I wouldnt that gullible to try it unless I had confidence that I could do well. So, with that said, I do have time to study forex. Do any of you think that 2-2:30 hours is enough per day? That is my goal. Because I dont know where to start, i have been doing a mix of reading news, going over basic stuff, and browsing the forex factory forums looking for something that could maybe help me. But it all seems like an overload of information, and I am obviously not intelligent enough to grasp it all in like some of you successfull posters/traders.
Sorry for the long post and thank you in advance.
