one poster recently ask about ,how to handle a swingtrade. i think it was UKSNOWMAN,dont know

here is a typical example how im gonna mannage a swing trade on the gbp/chf...

i went long just before the hour,,, if its the botom,we dont know,,i placed a 150 pip stop and see if we can get something out of this...

will later add more ,if the H&S played out,,or some ress is broke,,or a more clear signal ..

found a good support today, but no reversal sign yet.

p.s. there should be plenty of time to get in if looking for a swing. i would not rush in.

where ? it must be somewhere close to 1.5000 ... we are at the start of the bottom,but dont know how long wiggs will it have on weekly /daily charts... i think in the region close to 1.5000 ..

i dont try to figger out..my stop is just under 1.4990 .. it will kill me if im gonna watch it,,, we can be for days hopping around here at the bottom,, end of next week will be more clear of a sign of a bottom..

hope it dont went past 1.4990.lol

if the support is gone then you are a toast.
today's candle = doji
low of today should be considered as support.
often times, big boys hunt your stop then run it up like there is no tomorrow.

but reverse will happen,we all know that..

will enter again when im stopped out ,but for now,my stop is ok under 1.4990

weekly close candle is IMPORTANT for today.. the safer way is to wait until next week..

lol. i hope so too. but i would not bet my money on it.

2 reasons

1. although todays candle made a doji, take a look at the lower shadow. i really wonder if the lower shadow is long enough to convince me to believe that if this is a good support area.

2. weekly macd lines are still way down from 0 line.

eventually we will see reversal, yes, but it can still be after 300-500 pips or more.

..Picking bottom is FUN..

it's your trade. i'm just sharing what i'm seeing on my chart that i don't see any sign of reversal yet.

i'm not suggesting how you should enter a trade or throw a better option of entry. i've already had 1 loss with this pair because i was impatient.

all i'm saying is at least try to trade like traders instead of playing guessing games. there seems to be a lot of cowboys in here lately. lol

on gbp/usd... @1.5350 is a good scalping trade for long. we might have a big bounce at that level ..

Buy Daily and weekly seems Bullish..

Monthly seems can go another push Down... Unless monthly becomes a Doji at 1.5688

I got in at low leverage @ 1.51, s/l 1.48, target at least 2000 pips in the next few months.

I used to short this pair when it was around 2.05, and nice interest every day. That was funny, but very volatile. When it reached 1.70 I lost interest coz I thought it couldn't go much lower. Well we see that FX is very unpredictable sometimes.
