I've been following the FRWC competition closely since it started.
As it was released today has anyone here bought it?
Any reviews or impressions from day one usage?
There are a couple of things that smell bad to me about this.
1. The site looked very professional while the comp was running but the follow up marketing looks like the rest of the scam EAs out there like FAP Turbo that have one looooonnnngggg web page with nothing but sales blurb. These types of sites just sell crap usually and I think it's stopped me buying rather than selling to me.
Never seen a site like that which has produced anything good. Have you?
2. The winner. Anyone know him? If he's developed an EA that works so well why is he sitting in that poverty looking lounge with that tiny PC to trade on!
Surely he should have quite a few grand in the bank by now!!!
3. The cost. It's pricey and although the winning EA produced good figures you'd never want to put your mortgage on it with fluctuations like that.
Why can't we just buy the EAs individually?
HiRider and SuperVolcano look much more stable and profitable long term IMO.
4. If it aint broke don't fix it. Why on earth would you want to amalgamate 2 great steady EAs with a really unstable one (the winner).
Anyway that's my rant from a follower of the competition whos scepticism just got the better of him and who put his card firmly back in his pocket on pay day!
Someone please prove me wrong and tell me they actually work for a change!

If I'm reading them right it just confirms what I though in my origianl post (5 or 6 back) that the mighty new bot they have created isn't really why we should be buying. It had a few BIG holes that could wipe out an account if not managed correctly.
The LMC and SuperVolcano EAs had some nasty losses too off just a 0.10 lot (-$1500 on one SV trade) which is 15% of the $10k bank!
HiRider made most of the profit for it and for me it's the one to buy. I'm not really happy though paying $1000 just for that EA to throw the rest away.
FRWC if your listening let us just buy the EAs individually. I'd pay $500 alone just to get my hands on HiRider and it's beautiful upward lines!!!

In live trading, HiRider had relatively large floating losses.
