Looks like today might show us some speculation on the EUR and GBP. For those of you wondering, I am going to let them both rise in price before looking to sell later.

I believe we will still see downside in both pairs, but as you know - nothing goes up or down in a straight line.

Let’s look at what the euro has done against the US dollar compared to what the Chinese currency has done since the last dollar bear market began. Below is a percent change chart with the starting date June 1, 2002. As you can see, the euro (purple) has gained 54% since that time; while the juggernaut of global growth from China—the yuan—has moved about 0% since that time. Thus, the euro has appreciated about 54% against the Chinese currency too.
This is what we call a “euro mash.” Europe is getting squeezed on the currency front by two of its largest trade competitors—the US and China. Ouch! I hope Mr. Sarkozy doesn’t see this chart.

But the Chinese yuan is pegged against the USD right?

I'm not sure this analysis is 100% correct?

The Yuan/Remembi is pegged, so there really isn't a market there.

I was wondering when we'd move.

I just got done shoveling the snow from 2 driveways. I thought I was gonna have a heart attack. lol Not used to real work. I leave that to the peasants. Okay, so I'm a peasant.


I am hoping aud/usd can make a move up to the 8940 area-also a 50% of the move down. I'll look for bearish price actions from there.

Wife and I are thinking Florida soon. Days like this make a good case.

I and my wife think in the same way but for us it's Greece.

More snow to fall here (southern Sweden) tomorrow. Sigh. Enough really, where is that global warming? I'd like some of that right about now.

Hey - Greece would work. Of course, we have so many Greeks in Columbus....it would be about the same. Culturally that is.

My wife and I are dreaming of a beachfront condo near Daytona. That's our favorite spot. I'd love to trade with a beachfront view.

As soon as I can grow my account to 100K we're good to go! Ever since you implemented the 25% a month rule, I've been raking it in.
