When we have a breakout of the resistance level the price will initially accelarate away from it very quickly. It should then make a parabola type u-turn and retest the resistance level which now acts as support.

Which ever time frame you are viewing this breakout on, is the same time frame on which you will see the parabola. ie If you are looking at the 15 min time frame, you must look for the parabola on the same time frame, or higher. This formation is something that will take place over several candles.

Once the price has accelarated away, many orders are placed at this level in anticipation of resistance turning in to support.

So what happens to all of those orders when what should have happened after a break out did not happen?

Answer: They dont go anywhere. They stay right there for hours, days, weeks and even months, waiting for the level to be tested so that the trend which was initiated by that break out can continue.

i guess u dont agree but i see this upmove as baby bull, or consolidation before down move, but i'm not sure

Sterling is key I think. The Yen pairs are above their weekly open price, but Sterling is still having a tough time against the Dollar.

i dont like to guess .. i rather be sure..you are more an aggresive trader..i was short at 150 level,but dont know what in my mind went wrong to exit at 144 somewhere..and i never touch it until now,,im still on the sideline and wait and be patient for the right setup...if it break 2day 139 i dont care and wont chase it,,i will wait for it.. either ress at higher levels or SUPP/RESS

nothing,, was a long time in eur/usd short from 1.5 upto 1.37.. smell a reversal for dollar continuation weakness for rest of 2010 ..still a early sign if i look at futures volumes,,we are not far from the bottom.. supp at 1.3450,,but we will see how it react..

alright. well the charts are pointing to EU below 1.20, AU below .70 , DOW below 7,000 , Gold below 800
