Sorry I havnt posted much this week, Been focusing on trading my own acct,,, work ,,,,etc,,,, But I think that there is more than enough info in this thread to get a real good feel on how to trade the swings and capture pips in between,,,,I think I am up 800+pips of profit for this week,,,so far,,,, playing breakouts and staying up late for PA trades......Anyways,,,dont forget about tomarrows Non farm pay news event,,,,,Stand aside,,,,,,Should be interesting!!

Impressive numbers, PipTalk. I don't want to suggest we veer off course from this thread's topic, but one of these days would you be able to touch on what other methods you trade (breakouts, etc), other than this newly-found CH method? How many of those 800 pips were CH and how many were your other method(s)?

Sure thing. One other thing I might add is that the TDI indicator sometimes gives you some clues when Stoch don't. Take a look at my picture again, you'll see that the TDI (both green and red) were under the 50 level and the red had just crossed over the green...those are 2 good bearish signals that you can look at when the Stoch are at the top or bottom of their range already.

Well,,,to be honest,,,I pretty much traded the breakouts ,,,Out of consolidation and timeframes....Somewhat CH,,,But mostly my setups...So it would be off the threads main focus.......

Come on guys we must keep this thread going.Nobody seems to be active anymore!I personally love this way of trading and would be a shame to see it die.So looking forward to reading your write-up HLass on bollinger bands.

The thread is a bit active not as much as a few weeks ago, but we will all keep it going, but today, NFP day, most traders dont trade, I know I dont, in fact I think I have traded NFP day 2 maybe 3 times in past 2 years. Good moves, but who cares, not worth the hassle and its friday which is a rarity for me to trade, maybe 1 time every 2-3 months I trade friday and results are fair at best. I ended up a nice week with no losses in only 8 trades, no need to bother with fridays that can be crazy especially on NFP day.

I am actually about half way done with the write up as that is what i have worked on part of this morning, but I have been interrupted a few times today as my dog is sick and this is getting the best of me at the moment, but the write up should be done sometime today, as its 130pm est right now, so plenty of time, but it will be here soon enough.

Hey Gang...

Sorry I haven't checked in for awhile... miss you all.

Charts and info is great... keep it up.

I'm going to start trading longer time frames and will be posting some charts again either during or after the trades. Have a hard time kicking away from 1 hr, 4 hr and daily charts... less stressful.

Just been watching the charts. All I can say is, what a great method. Pity its hidden away! Hlass, await ure write up eagerly. Personally, I think u only need to see the swing distances that Craig talks about, and then take the trades in accordance with the rules. Bollingers help as well, and I hope to be able to refine trades once Hlass shares his insights. Incidentally, there is some talk abou going with the trend, however, from what I could discern from the videos, u can take trades if the swing that craig talks about are there. I remember one example he gives which is a loss trade, so what, it results in a signal in the opposite direction which he takes, and more than makes up for it.

Any thoughts?

Hi everyone,

You will all have to excuse me, I am in the middle of this write up, and I dont just want to finish it sort of half-assed, I have been busy this weekend as my dog is having medical issues and well he is family, I know this sounds stupid like a excuse, and some will say that, but it will be just another day or so, most of you know, that I do as I say I will do, but my dog is sick and well he is definitely more important than a write-up, please be patient with me, it will be here soon enough, for those that understand, thank you very much.
