GBPCHF

This pair has now clearly failed at my prefered selling level. I have moved both positions to BE now after we touched the 5 minute TDST support level and placed my first target level at the 15 minute TDST support which has just been achieved as I type. We have now completed TDF sell setups on the 15 minute and 1 hour charts so although I have taken early profits here, we could still retrace some of the 1 hour thrust candle before a substancial move develops, considering this I will still be watching for 5 minute TDF sell setups which will be taken.

GBPUSD

We have pierced through my prefered selling level, although I still view this as a temporary occurance and I am waiting for a bearish thrust to form on teh 5 minute chart at which point I will go short, hopefully this will happen just before the news comes out.

GBPUSD

We made the 5 minute thrust to complete the TDF sell setup, I have two entries here and placed my stop at the 1.6080 as a buffer before the news, should it hold until after the news I will move it.

GBPUSD

I decided to take 1/3 profits at 1.6021, as everything was happening at the same time around the news I failed to spot that strictly speaking a 5 minute entry has a partial profit level of the closest TDST support which was hit, so I took partial profits actually at a lower level so gain some pips from my confusion. I will exit another 1/3 of the position at the 1.5994 level and hold the rest, I see the rest of the position as a chance hold for a structural move towards the 1.5200 area.

GBPUSD

I have closed out the second 3rd of my entry at the 1.5994 level and will no whold the remainder as a long-term postion. We have just bounced from the 15 minute TDST support level and made a TD buy setup, which is quite a strong bullish signal but I am bearish, it is not at any of my long-term levels so I will not be getting involved, I view this as possibly a chance to go higher and make a lower high before the new trend heads lower ( I hope...lol)

Can you tell me, does the indicator repaint? the signals on your charts seem to differ on mine.

Hello Gez,

No the indicator does not repaint, I have had several questions about this before in both of the threads. Brokers data can differ by a pip or two and according to the rule of demark means that the count can dissappear and reappear as ticks come through but this is only a function in deciding whether the bar is going to close correctly in relation to the bar four bars ago. Additionally, as the brokers data can differ we can come out with different count patterns.

On the higher timeframes, this should occur lesss however it is still possible as some most brokers close daily and 4 hour candles at different times, for this there is not much you can do. But for sure the indicator does not repaint.

Just trade what you see on your charts, it makes no difference what so ever, perhaps next time you broker will give you a better entry, thats trading.

Actually Gez,

If you look at your count, it starts at 2 instead of one. I will have to look into this, maybe if you refresh your chart it might change, if not let me know.

Yes, I have noticed one or two looking back at charts, it has not effected any trading thus far personally and I always make sure the count is good myself but it is not good to have this with the indicator. I will ask my good friend coder to take a look.

USDJPY

I am getting some exhaustion signals on multiple timeframes on approach to the first bullish thrusts low (91.55) from 29/12/09 which supported the market then was removed and provided resistance. As we are bearish according to the BAT and this level is very close to the 50% fibonacci retracement level I see this as a good opportunity to look for a selling opportunity.

Just reviewing this week and I have a question. On post 243 of the aud/usd can you tell me what the numbers 0.91761, 0.9085, 0.8927, and 0.88270 represent and how you chose them to highlight. Thanks again for all the help.
