forex fundamentals-where to get started?

Apart from a few websites, any books etc that would get me up to scratch on forex fundamentals?

Not much to it really, same as with much else in forex you can read into things too much very easily, but I don't think you'd go far wrong in going through the calendar on this site and see how the deviation from forecast to actual affects the currency price, normally good news = good for currency, information on the impact of a deviation is on this site, there is no mathematical correlation between the deviation and the currency price, it is as always driven by the usual laws of Forex.

I highly recommend you read "The Secrets of Economic Indicators" by Bernard Baumohl to learn more about what economic indicators are and how they affect the market.

i've already done the ' if better than prediction buy buy buy ' trick but that's just noob. looking at a more global macro economic outlook

is that like GDP etc?

Funny Mentals Ha Ha, I wonder if there is a tech analysis equivalent, something like Techy Annihilation maybe?

I guessd you need to first focus on what are you trying to learn - Is at about basics of forex market, is it a trading strategy, is it about indicators.

That will help you decide the sources!
