Trading On A Monday

Has anyone ever made money trading on a Monday? Is it bad karma to trade on the opening day of the week?

Uh yeh. Big weekend news makes monday pop.

aw hellz yeah. and we have aussie & china news coming out today, so it will move. lately asian session moves on the majors have been sweet.

Tuesday and Wednesday are better days to start it off after the trading train warms up on Monday.

It would be nice to be able to fit the entire forex market into a neat little box, avoid Mondays they don't move, avoid Fridays they are too volatile, London session is good, Asian session is slow, ect, ect........ truth is, while there may be some statistical data showing a higher percentage of market movement at one time or day versus another, the market can move or consolidate anytime it wants too, and as the adage goes " it's always right".

Either you are positioned correctly in the market to profit from it or you are not.

You can only take what the market gives, somedays it gives a bunch, somedays little, but you'll never be able to take it unless you show up.
