At least I know we have many prop firms trading stocks here and giving money to trade unlike Forex. After I learn this thing it can be my day time job. and Forex I am still working on it.
I guess when I start making 3-5% monthly consistently I will be able to take on clients. started trading in October 2008.

IMHO prop firms are a big wast of effort and money. Actually I would say that they are some sort of legalized scam.

All they give you is leverage over your deposit with them but so does your broker.

Their charges will eat all your profits and some more. They are nothing else than a local bucket shop,and I really doubt your trade is actually executed on the market but stays in their bucket.

Instead trading with real traders, so at least you could learn something, you will probably find yourself among a whole bunch of gamblers that will try to learn from you .

If I was you I would set some reasonable objectives and trade my way through it. Sometimes a short cut makes the journey harder.

No, this one is a legit company. It is Title Trading.
Fees are not that high actually.
I do not invest any my money. They give me actually money to trade. starting with 100 shares.
All the fees are covered by 1 tick.
I am not looking to make 1-2 ticks. I am learning to trade to get more than that and trade less. I do my math.
We have quite a few similar prop firms in Toronto area and many branches. i am aware of at least 10 while I know of no firm trading Forex. This is the problem.
I continue trading Forex obviously but only around London open.
I have another option regarding Forex. will see how things will turn out. i have been sending reports to one company since the moment I started trading. I actually already managed my first $50 000 for their client after 6 months in trading, but he withdraw, my return was really low.
Too careful... but this stocks trading is a real thing. it depends upon how I trade. if I trade well, I will have all the money I need to trade.
The pay starts from 40%, then goes to 50% and I know guys making 60% at this firm. This company has very good traders but not in my office. I am learning myslef as I did with Forex.

Xaron, how are things going?
I cannot believe. E/U have not been at this level for ages so is E/J.
Kinda opened charts yesterday after work and see. wow, had to scroll MT4 all the way back many months to find some kind of support at this areas.

If he did not change his way of trading and stopped been so stubborn he is probably margin called by now.

I have ever been worried about Xaron fundamental trading. He always had a bearish bias toward USD. I think he said once that Euro won't go below 1.40 USD.

As a technical trader, I don't care where the USD is going in 1 month or even 1 week. BTW, I can't imagine that fundamental traders can realize great performances on the forex.

It is too early to make conclusions. Xaron might have reversed his positions.
The man simply might be simply busy to post.

us fundamentalists have more tricks than u think. being one or the other isnt going to make a difference in your trading but being both will. Realizing the divergences in fundamentals and technicals can lead to profits.

Don't stop recording your trades, do it privately. It will have a tremendous impact on your trading skills if you look at it after a while, it will allow you to spot patterns that were the cause of loses. furthermore, it will also allow you to spot your strengths. Be really honest with what you write and will see

Xaron is doing fine, except he still thinks that the EURUSD is going up. I saw him post here on a vote of when the feds will increase rates and he still says that feds will not increase this year, I wonder if he still believes that after Bernanke's comment yesterday.
