I don't see much problems for them to sell paper in the markets, esp from the statement, they are not particular about the source of the funds. and they paying good yields, no?

Imho,
Goldman is an offshore entity, paid approx.1 mln $ in corp taxes to the gov't on net of 8 bln+.( Good fx desk though)

Morgan a Zombie(mitsubishi partner) walking away from lending commitments without the Bernanke Put.

Bond boys just locking in bps at auction, salesman doing their job.

Not much gamesmanship dynamics, very little trust across the board.

Am a little wary, but nothing that cannot be overcome.

all we can do is adapt ... get into defensive mm , crosses are tearing
probably some Jap guy talking out the market ...

Hi, I'm new to this thread, right now I'm reading it from the beginning, I'm a fan of Carol Osler's studies on market microstructure, especially the forex markets, and Sam Seiden is another guy who puts orderflow above everything in the market, I like to learn from the core, currently just watching here, looks like a pretty live thread, and bear with me because I don't know much, haven't finished reading the FED release and all of Proffessor C.Osler studies yet

@fti : I'm a little new to fx, about 1,5 years into, but have been trading stock index futures for 1,5 yrs before that, there are no trendlines or squiggly lines on my chart, simply S/R lines and I never look at anything less than 4H TF, I still use my stops though .

I hope I'm qualified enough to participate here

thats what doing....trying to get breakeven ... no major loss some recovered...

ncie move though..... its kinda high to see such move... no matter my way or against...

I'm jumping into the battle with "micro" live acct. Just can't test my emotions with demo. Played a bit with the beginning of the euro session. I was paying attention to my mind set .... probably due to small size all was good ... whether the pair was against or "with" my bias. Enjoyed the dance ..... all squared before news ...... made all of $5 bucks :-)

137pip range from 120pip 2 week average is not "quiet" (GMT time zone)

but I must admit that I felt a little uneasy today as well. Managed just a quick attack up to L3 and out. Made a little less that 1%.

I ahve question... i am using Oanda right now... but i am putting more funds on the block.. so was thinking to dissipiate the risk and put some money on other brokers...

any recomendation guys....

Very nice all in one platform for manual execution, big name, good liquidity, margin top ups, retail leverage.

PS. I'm not affiliated with DB in anyway, just a bump for autobahn.
