Amazing strength / annoying uptrend on our GY. I'd only recently started buying in scalp mode, in partial disbelief how it's moved 170 pips since this morning, when I was saying to myself "it won't last" - good thing is, I don't (any longer) get married to expectations. It does look like the last 1-2hrs of PA is getting bought. Have just dumped a long @ our resistance here @ 147.2, and picked up a short, all for the purposes of scalping, until we figure out the PA; one would expect London to reverse things for us ... beware of news though. Including daily chart off my GMT based broker too.

EDIT: Just seeing a 12 pip tall M5 wick on the reach for resistance, so perhaps this is the top.

It just cant keep going UP...it needs to shrug of OB levels...by going down or by Ranging...

Divergence is Super Bearish..ATM..IMO..

Since I'm on a quest to find good/better volume & better VSA potential (w/o Esignal!), I was very unimpressed with DBFX - their "Trading Station" SW completely ignores volume, not being able to display it at all. I'd sifted through the downloadable indicators, and although there's a GANN, nothing at all seems to reference volume in any way. In fact, I can't even figure out a way to do a take profit on existing trades. Both make for very severe limitations for what should be a top tier provider. If you can correct me on this, please post; pic included for reference. Will check Dukascopy next - have heard they have 4 LP sources: Hotspot, Currenex, Icap, & Lava.

I am not expecting Kaboom......

If you are not sure ...where it is going...then look to break even..get out..

and Dont ADD more...Live to trade another DAY...

Do not be angry...Personally I dont think it will go below 146.50... next few Hrs...

I am gonna close shorts at 146.59.. and Watch..the range...

Look at your indi on 15M...how it is shrugging Bearish Divergence only to go Higher..

just Closed all Shorts...made few PIPS...better than Loosing..

Gonna watch PA for few Hrs..

The way I am seeing this UP move was WAVE A...now we are in WAVE B...which should be in 3 Waves..ABC...where ever 138% or 161% comes...I will Go Long( for Wave C).. So took some Patience Pills...

147.56 is the key to go LONG... And 148.36 is Important..any 4HR Close Above will Do...

BoJ statement due in next few hours

The market had looked for a while as if it was going to treat us to a nice volatile day but unfortunately the momentum is fizzling out and traders are squaring up ahead of the BoJ event risk. EUR/JPY has fallen back towards 128.00 after posting a high at 38 earlier. The rate decision and statement are expected in about 2 hours time.

EDIT: Meaning, in about an hour. Am expecting it to hit 146ish, DPP, and will exit my short there.
EDIT2: BoJ keeps policy rate at 0.1%. Not sure if there's more to come from BoJ.

And also: JPY crosses lower on renewed China move

The talk is that China has told some of the major banks to alter their lending practices again. More to come but the JPY crosses have had the wind well and truly taken out of their sails.
Pretty quick move so I booked profits on shorts and will short again around 146.50-14.70
