but, the other indicator i detect a fix (based on Murray Maths)

Hi, I forgot to ask : are your indicators specifically created for 4 decimal price brokers ? Because I ( and most traders i know of ) now trade with 5 decimal platforms. Just asking. Thanks.

Yes, are to 4 Decimal Metatrader,
but i fix to 5 decimal and re-post.

Hello...

I'm joining this thread (finally) to show my support for thread starter. Without this thread, I would not be able to prove that forex can really be profitable if we know how to trade.

Thanks for all for all who are involved in this thread. I really appreciate it and I'm looking forward to make real profit early next year. (Stick on to demo account until I'm confident that I really can make profit out of this great system)

This is my starting result for this month. Using only murrey math + HSI for trading. The version of murrey math indicator is from VG. But it seems that ns_karthik have changed to MM Multi.. I'm going to change to that from now on.

I noticed a few harmonic charts w/ MM lines; just curious how that's working out. I use harmonics and pivot lines, thinking of incorporating MML to improve risk/reward on my trades.

Great thread. MML appear to work in all markets I have seen. I was initially skeptical when I heard about the connection to Gann as so much controversy surrounds Gann. Combined with volume as some are doing here you can spot turning points quite well. This is gold futures on a 1 min with VWAP 3 std deviations and MML on Ninja Trader.

The candle, shows a price increase yet the closing price is much less than half of that 5 min period max. Therefore price action would indicate that despite the modest price increase there was significant selling.

But price went up significantly after this.

BTW, I sat on the sidelines because of this and changed my mind about going long on GU.
I am not sure if plus 50 is still here or not, but I have spent the last 2 years studying VSA and Wyckoff. According to Todd Krueger, one of the volume experts, when a situation like that volume spike occurs but closes "negatively" its best to drop down to a lower time frame. So you could confirm that will a 3 minute chart, from the 5, or even a 1 min, and watch if it closed up which is what you want to see. Then are the following candles closing up on increasing volume. The following down close candles should be on generally decreasing volume. The other confirmation I learned from them is that if that was a selling candle in the next two candles it showed have moved lower, on increasing volume, the fact that it didn't was a clue it was going higher.

I am sure I don't need to state the obvious, there is no real volume reported in forex and you are only getting the bid/ask tick volume reported from the broker feed. The only aggregate feed I have seen for forex volume is the GTIS Esignal feed but it's $100 a month.

Lastly there are some great threads at Traders Laboratory dot com on VSA and volume.

Now averaged the sale@ 145.735 & 127.70 respectively......if these go against then i'll be out with 20 pips loss.....

Go to your indic's inputs and change MMPeriod to 1440
1 hour is MMPeriod 60, 4 Hours is MMPeriod 240 etc...

yes did help but didn't suppose once you set the period to be constant despite the surf between time frames? i'm asking this because 5 min mmlines are not the same with 1h mmlines...
