You are right but looking at your chart you've got your terminal window open and a load of other stuff. To look at a chart properly you need all the screen.
I'm out of this pair at the moment even though it's one of my favourites to trade. Bank of Japan are messing with our heads as well.
An idea - take all that stuff off and draw 2 lines. If it's bouncing between them, price is consolidating. If it breaks out, it's trending until it starts bouncing again.
