Shadow chancellor George Osborne has told the BBC that if the Conservatives win the general election they will copy US plans to limit the size of banks.

And from what I can tell across the pond here on Brown's fortunes of late, win the election they well may. So, it's completely sensical to copy US policy in the UK ... that's never failed the UK before, has it. So much for the sterling.

How about five waves up from here to complete wave C of a wave 4 correction?

Not sure if an ABC can make up a wave 4, however.

I believe it was suggested a little earlier that the big drop that we just experienced is likely a wave 3, according to Elliott Wave theory.

If so, then the minor bounce to 146.70 would be part of wave 4. However we still have not made a new low, so I am thinking that the current low of 146.04 or so to 146.70 is a Wave A, 146.70 to 146.15 is a Wave B, and now we would perhaps have a higher move (to a Fib level) to complete Wave C and, thereby, complete wave 4 correction.

If we make a new low, then we would have wave 5 underway.

I am sure the experts out there have much better input.

yip,and then a few bounces up and down,then a quick move to 135,and we shall not rule out a move as low as 130 where a very lenghy and tortuous basing process ought to start.. thats is where i leave this pair to rest while completing its basing..

Had the short then a long of the lower bollinger band currently short again wow love this rapid moves makes trading so much easier....

True story, indicators work,S/R lines are valid ,good stuff...i have 230 pips for the last 2 hours of "work" 190 banked anyway..

It probably will stop on the LTL (143.00 zone)on the daily chart before reversal.

Been saying it for over a week now that we will see a 400-500 pip move sooner than later. ..

Target is weekly gann should bounce from there maybe if not a test of 142 should be a good buying point!

142 is a point of bounce. But rally still is sell. By the way Gann is signal bearish for daily soon. Take alert...

GY's retraced 50% of the down move, exactly to the DPP @ 147.225. Have got a sell here with a tight/BE SL. Euro markets are down across the board, and there's a good chance GY will tank too. Not sure what the news in 70 minutes will bring.

EDIT: Out @ 146.25 after the bad news release. Quite happy here. But, am completely stumped that given a post-news dump of 40 pips, it's given it all back & a +30 pip pop to almost 147. That's confusing. Me thinks someone doesn't want the GY to go down. But, PA still underway, so we'll see.

yeah it already retrace 50% FB of the down move. Now ranging there to up 61.8% or going down
