Just having a bit of a trawl through the charts from today and thought I would post a few examples for training purposes. Any questions just post them and I will do my best to give some help.

EURJPY - Training

I posted some charts from todays action earlier but thought I would zoom in a little to give some illustration on one pair. I have attached three charts below of the action in EURJPY today which tells a simple story. Firstly, the 15 minute gives us a TDF sell setup at 12:15 GMT, then the 30 minute also gives us a TDF sell setup at 13:30 GMT. So at this point the bias is clearly to the downside so the trader at this point can start to take short positions and even zoom in further for entry. The third chart I attached is the 1 minute chart following the final 30 minute TDF sell setup at 13:30. As we can see we get a TDST failure at 14:48 GMT which provides us with even further confirmation of the bearish scenario. Additionally, this particular entry was only 16 pips risk.

Basically these three charts show how the trader can take the TDF setups but also zoom in after these signals to find an even lower risk entry within the TDF entry zone.

Could you take a look at EURUSD, Daily chart and make a comment, please.

All your charts are very impressive and contain persuasive power.

I think I have to wait for the next market entry. (Weekly chart moves near 61.8 Fibonacci Level).

I would ask you once more. It's more a question of right understanding. Is this one marked on the EURUSD Weekly chart a bullisch thrust bar?

EURUSD

Hello Forexcube,

Thank you for your question, I will give you my current view on EURUSD daily situation according to TD and BAT analysis.

Firstly from a TD view, we completed a TD buy setup on the 16th of December which is when I would look for a bullish thrust bar to go long.

Secondly from a BAT perspective, we removed the lower BAT support level on the 17th of December which again is when I would then look for a bullish thrust bar to look for long opportunities.

Using both my daily analysis techniques I was hoping to see a bullish thrust before now, but the market has been ranging ever since. However, today is the day that we will finally make the bullish thrust which is the trigger to look for long opportunities from both the TD and BAT perspectives. Taking all of this into consideration following todays close I would advise looking for opportunities to go long on the lower timeframes upon completion of TDF buy setups. However, as the BAT analysis is bearish I would view the removal of any bullish thrusts low as the trigger for a longer-term short entry at which point my bias would change.

Summary:

Look for opportunities to go long assuming today is a bullish thrust bar.

Look for opportunities to go short should we remove any bullish thrusts low to a close.

GBPUSD

As I posted earlier in the day, we posted a TD sell setup (Stage One) at 11:00am at which point aggressive traders could look for early TDF setups on the lower timeframes in anticipation of the coming 4 hour TDF sell setup. Following the close of the last 4 hour bar at 19:00 GMT tonight we completed the TDF sell setup. I would now recommend looking for short positions over the next day or two on lower timeframes, while anyone who got long postions at lower levels to trail their stop at 1.6069 (the ninth bars low). I was hoping to hold my longs for a long term target but one can't ignore what the charts are saying, the dailies are long-term bearish according to my BAT analysis, we have made a 4 hour lower high and a TDF sell setup, for me this can't be any clearer so I would rather book some profits on the buy positions and move on.

nice method you have here, but if i may ask you a question what broker do you use for chart analysis because my chart from my broker not same as you, it didn't print number 1 till 9 in gu 4h

Hello Hari,

Welcome to my thread,

I use MIG Bank, it is possible with different brokers to get different counts as the bars like 4 hour can close at different times and when the calculation is within a pip to qualify a bar each broker may well be different. All I can say is to trade what you see on your chart, maybe mine will be right, maybe yours will be right no one really knows, but there is nothing we can about data differences between brokers and because DeMark is price based the odd tick here or there can change a TD sequence these issue will appear.

EURUSD

I posted yesterday that the overall outlook for this pair was short-term bullish on the back of a TD buy setup then the bullish thrust yesterday. However, I am getting conflicting charts as we have produced a TDF sell setup on the 4 hour charts.

Additionally, we already have a daily TD sell setup on AUDUSD, 4 hour TDF sell setup on GBPUSD and a TDST bounce on USDCAD daily the charts which appear to be telling me of USD strength. Taking this into consideration I would prefer to wait and see how this pair develops from here before getting involved.

USDCAD

We came up just short of my hourly TDST resistance which was my partial profit level although we have failed to make any TD sell setups on the 30 minute or 1 hour which indicates that this market is not exhausted yet. Following the nice bullish bounce from the daily TDST support yesterday I am happy to take any long opportunities. I have just taken a long position on the back of a TDF buy setup on the 15 minute chart as illustrated below.

GBPUSD

We have seen some strength here intrady following the inital weakness after the 4 hour TDF sell setup from yesterday. However, it has come up against the hourly TDST resistance and seems to backing off a little. I took profits on all my buy positions during the night at the low of TD sell setups completion bar (9th) while I also regrettably at this stage moved the stop on the remainder of my sell positions to BE and was taken out. However, this is trading, you make decisions and move on, I made some profits from this setup and perhaps we will get another opportunity to short later in the day.

I will keep you updated should I make any decisons on this pair.

In my few days of testing foggytrader's system s I came to realise that overall price differences between brokers do not matter, though I have downlaod MIG demo account to follow his analysis on this thread,

GBPUSD

We have completed an hourly TD sell setup and we are just about to complete a 30 minute one. Looks like this pair may have run out of steam now and should head lower. FX Tailko has taken a 5 minute short entry which looks good but there may still be time to get in later in the day. However, as things are really pointing to the downside here as far as TD is concerned, it might even be worth placing a sell stop at the low of the current 30 minute bar incase we get a big move after the Trade Def news out in 4 mins... I cancelled my sell stop, not a big enough reaction I will wait further developments to go short later in the day.

USDCAD

The strength following yesterdays daily TDST bounce yesterday is thus far following through. I have decided to book some more profits at the hourly TDST level of 1.0392. I will hold the remaining positions for further developments with a view of possibly holding some of them for the daily TDST resistance level at 1.0852. I will keep you updated when I make any decisions.

GBPJPY

Just trying a few things out here with the system to illustrate its power. As you can see in the chart below, GBPJPY made a 15 minute TD buy setup at the close of the 14:15 bar GMT. When that bar closed I began looking for TDF buy setups on the one minute chart and got an entry with only 17 pips risk as you can see from the chart below. At the same time as this was going on I noticed that USDJPY and EURJPY were completing TD buy setups on other timeframes which further supported my idea to find a one minute TDF buy setup. Just a little food for thought on how else this method can be adopted. Risk 1% here and you only need a 17 pip move and thats your 1% back so you can imagine the possiblities if you caught a decent daily range move of GBPJPY.

I have since moved this one to BE and will let it run.

GBPUSD

I posted earlier that I would prefer to wait and sell strength later in the day, this opportunity has come with a 5 minute TD sell setup followed 9 bars later by a bearish thrust thus completing the TDF sell setup. My current 4 hour bar closes at 19:00 tonight I feel we really need to see a failure here to retain the bearish outlook otherwise the up trend could continue.

I will keep you posted on any further developments.
