Live Traders - Worst Month of 2009

For all you live traders out there, what was your worst-performing month of 2009?

On a $$ basis (opposed to a % basis)

Best month : september.
Worst month : october.

June was my worst month.

Thanks for the reply. I traded live during Q1 of 2009...did not have a losing month (worst performing month was February, but I did not vote in the poll since I only traded live for 3 months). However, I was not 100% comfortable with the trading method I was using (for various reasons). So, I stopped trading live until I am 100% ready for live forex trading. As of today, I am still not quite there yet. Yes, I am a perfectionist!

I started this poll after some extensive backtesting of a few strategies. I found that 1 or 2 months of 2009 consistently performed the worst. It will be interesting to see what this poll uncovers.

We are not necessarily comparing apples-to-apples here since some traders' methods do better in ranging markets and others in trending markets. There are such a wide range of different trading methods. So, the poll results may not give much statistical accuracy, but should (with enough participation) give us some idea of the worst trading months of last year and satisfy my mild curiosity.

Why 2009? I don't believe many traders relish the negative months of the past, especially a year ago.

what could csuse the totals to be different like like in my picture?

Bad and/or missing data.

I tried again using my MBTrading demo account. Initially, the data was incorrect. So, I waited a few minutes, removed the dashboards from the charts, and re-attached them. Then everything looked ok. Sometimes you need to give MT4 a chance to load any missing data.
