Do the math. $5000 (per person) x 100 (number of students per year) = $500,000 for selling education.
Another math $250 (per month) x 50 (people) x 12 (months) = $150,000.

Plus, trading is a lonely business. I would love to chat with others while I trade or trade as a team. Matter of fact, trading in front of people makes me to be more conservative hence reduces margin of error.

So the scenario is, that I will trade my money, other people's money, and broadcast what I do in online trading room and collect...

tradertool,

that makes since i always wondered why people would choose to teach instead of trade but no risk in teaching and can be rewarding.

I tried to PM you about chat room but you have a PM block?

I've actually been taking notes since the beginning of this thread and putting them in a document. After a ton of spell checking and re-working the grammar, here's an up-to-date PDF of the basic rules, plus Big E's main commentary and comments from others that I felt were important to the method.

Enjoy,

Great explanation !!!
Todays NFP provided us with an excellent example of how well this
Harami setup works along with Craig's system...
I highlighted the GBP/USD and EUR/USD where this setup occured...
self-explanatory really...
Although, there is a great video of this setup here:

Thanks again HLass for bring this subject on board...
Trade well everyone...

Ozzie, very interesting post and definitely something for everyone to keep an eye on, thank you very much.

Ok, just a little explanation of inside bar usage if anyone is interested as I dont want to sway anyone away from this great method we are using, I am using it as well, but the best thing I like about this is the TDI since it does confirm my trades and I like that very much.

Inside bar is really just a sort of stalling of price, the way I use it and it is very workable for me, about 92% win ratio, if we had a bullish candle and then the...

Take a look at how I modified the SDX_Sweetspots indicator to draw the BN's and 2 of the Mid-Range #s on my charts. I have also modified another indicator to draw the Wellington open for me which is 2 hours before the start of the new day on my broker. Apart from that I really wanted the "sessions" indicator that CH uses, so I had to customize another indicator to do close to it. It would be nice to have the original indis he uses, but for those of us who are too cheap (or poor) to buy them, you can modify free indis to look close to the real thing. Check out my chart to see what I mean. First picture is with the basic CH method criteria and Synergy MAs (no Heiken Ashi candles), the 2nd picture is the chart the way I use it with a few other indicators and MAs on it...I also have my chart setup to only show certain indicators (like the bigger MAs) when I switch to higher TFs. I also have a pivot indicator set to only show on the M1 and M5 TF, so that instead of switching templates, I can simply switch TFs real quick to see what's going on with the pivots, or with the big MAs to see where the trend is, etc. Then there's the SF_Trendline indicator which I REALLY like.

If anyone is interested in these indicators, I could post my template with the indicators I've modified. (You could change the colors to however you like it.) I have both a beige color and a black color template with all the same settings. I like the slick look of the black chart, but I can't see the candles nearly as well the beige one with all the indicators on the chart, so I use the beige one most. I'm not suggesting people set their charts up this way, just sharing how I do it.

Regards

I would like to discuss about news. CH says not to trade within 30 min of the news. But let's discuss if we should afraid of any news release. Generally these are the top 6 news which are recommended to avoid:
1. Unemployment/Non-Farm Payroll Reports
2. Interest Rates
3. Consumer Price Index
4. Trade Balance (Deficits vs. Surpluses)
5. Retail Sales
6. Speeches
Some experts recommend to avoid just 1. and 6, but I'd avoid all six. Now, why not to trade through other news which have moderate and low impact. Though such impact could still move market on 20-40 pips, but what if you entered a trade according the rules here, took some partial profits at BN and moved 30-40 pips away from breakeven point. Why not to wait the market reaction. In the worst scenario you'd return to BE point, but in most cases you could double profit on the remaining lots (mini-lots). As I saw in most cases market makes on news same color candle as a previous one. If you look forexfactory news grid then every day carries several news reports and it means a lot of avoidance. Can we rather exploit them instead of avoiding?
