i read this thread at random for fun .... and at the same time keep a look out for any clues for consistency of predictive nature ... but i get many more questions i feel like asking everytime i read this thread ...

like in this one ... between the red lines i see a pattern ... ok , lets discount the first block , the 2nd ,3rd and the 4th shows an up motion followed by a down motion .. but the 5th block shows a crash with a little upward motion ... what did the moon do earlier and what has it done now ...?

so, how does planets control the currency pair ?

the way i see it ..my guess is that it is doing a bear flag at this stage ...

among many questions that pop up in mind ...

and how does far away planets affect the out come ? .... if i remember my astronomy elective i did many years ago in the varsity correctly ... uranus, pluto, neptune , saturn etc.. from earth's point of view should be almost stationary (the arc formed) in the sky as their revolution around the sun is many years ... of course, the monthly planets mars, venus, mercury etc have quicker revolution and the moon has the least cycle of about 27 days ... so how do they influence the currency pairs ? ...

even the 1min chart is not flat or straight it has peaks and valleys... so which planet is influencing on the minute basis ...?

and how do u assign the planets influence to the pairs ... like, i don't know , Uranus to Aussie or Moon to Euro etc ...?

do the the planets influence the currencies or do humans respond to what they think they perceive to be the influence of the planets ... and hence the the chart we see , a reflection of human behaviour .. the basis of TA or the Dow Theory ... ?

how many people use planetary positions to make their trade ... do the instituional players/market makers act on planetary postions to make their move ??

... questions ... questions ... and more questions ...

( just an academic pondering .... )

@ TheArcher. Its unrealistic to think that each time there is a full moon the same thing will happen. Does the same thing happen each time a stochastic crosses? If you look at the chart, you will see the red lines are usually at the top or bottom of a move be it rally, retrace or swing reversal. If you cant see that i cant help you lol. I dont implement planetary cycles in my trading however, i think it would be stupid to dismiss it completely. The moon most definitely effects us, in fact statistically crime goes up on these days for unknown reasons. Now im not concerned with why it works (i suspect it has something to do with our bodies being made up of water which is why tides are effected also) i couldnt care less why it happens, but if i see a pattern there i will use what i see. If you see nothing, then forget about it. Its just something interesting that may or may not end up having some substance. Best to keep an open mind IMO, creativity is how we move forward...

I edited my screen and added heiken ashi so it may be easier to see. Now can you see the direction changes? In regards to the last full moon on the 31st of december, the currency is ranging. If it breaks to the downside i will be short to atleast 1.4000, not from planetary analysis, but it doesnt hurt lol. Hope this helps...

To those that are blindly bashing this thread, do some research before doing so and show at least some respect in giving your critics.

FYI you can look for these books:

Techniques of an Astrotrader. This course describes two powerful techniques from Earik's secret files that provide a complete forecasting and trading approach. Learn how the planets interact to create energy vibrations, how those vibrations influence us on Earth, and how the information can be used to forecast turning points in price and time with incredible accuracy. A daytrading method and a position trading method are both provided, including rules on entries, exits, risk management, and position sizing. Best of all, watch as Earik places...

The Handbook of Market Esoterica. This trading book deals with the true nature of price and time, magic numbers in the market, volume cycles, market geometry, astro trading, numbered squares, and unveils a secret Astronumerology system which unifies astrolgogy and numerology into a razor sharp forecasting methodology. Not intended for casual readers or the closed minded. After studying this manual, you will be able to forecast turning points in the distant future with a high degree of accuracy

Wave 59 also offers them.

PM me if you need the link to this info/books cause I think that the forum rules do not allow me to post in publically.

There is a full moon everyday somewhere in the world, how are you correlating it to currency pairs? If you used full moon for when its a full moon in europe for example, the full moon it on a seperate date for america if we use EURUSD as an example.

ha ha 'a full moon everyday'...no there is not stuuupid!! That is not how this works as James has explained. He is smart and uses astrological elements as well as the technical side as well....and has helped explain this to you... its pretty powerful if you look back... (although you sound like you are under 16 yo of age>>??)

I would suggest you listen to James's post before replying with silly information that is just using up valuable space.

there is a saying sabastionay "“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt..."

sabastionay, please read the above bold statment a few times, and stop posting stuff after you have come home from the the pub....I am sure it will help you in the long run....

I guess you know what I mean.

Yes i hear what your saying. The thing that amuses me is that people come in here bashing the thread left right and centre knowing nothing about the subject. I am still new to this concept so i am unsure as to whether planetary cycle data can be implemented into my trading however, all new ideas should be treated with an open mind until proven/disproved. If i can trade successfully with something as ridiculous as my dog barking once for short or twice for long, then i will do it (Im not suggesting trading like that so please do not reply lol). I do not know why i got the idea to check full moon cycles, however if you look closely there was a direction change around those times plain to see.
