I'm a tad confused. The Unemployment Claims report was in favor of the USD but EURUSD spiked on this news. There was no other news I can tell that explains the move against the USD. What's up with that?

I show a spike down in EURUSD which indicates USD strength. Where is the confusion??

what about GBP/USD ?

probably will keep going down, in favor of USD?

I don't put a whole lot of faith in any trends this or last week. Markets are relatively thin and because of that can be pushed around easier than normal. Looking forward to getting past all of these holidays and getting back to some good volatility.

I was looking at my demo account, which is with FxPro and it sure as sh*t shows a move up (see attached). My live account (Oanda) does show a dip. Scary, since I use FxPro for charting and Oanda for live trading.
