A continuation trade at 6am after retracement to 38.2% Fibonacci level. From 7 December after the suprisingly strong NFP data on Friday 3 December.

Look out for H&S patterns, which usually are very profitable. Here's two in the same chart with a remarkable symmetry. From 24-25 June 2009.

Here some classic trend continuation trades at 6am and 7am. You rarely see more than three consecutive ones before consolidation. From 25-27 August 2009.

Look out for S&R levels that have been battle lines over the past 12-24 hours. Retracement to such levels often lead to breakout trades. From 15 December 2009.

A 7am long based on "the line in the sand", and then a short at 8am based on pivot, 50% Fibonacci and double zero levels.

The short is also a trend continuation trade, where retracement to the broken 1.6051 level provided another entry.

Good Morning. You're welcome, and please feel free to ask questions in relation to the charts.

For me the trade consistent with principles applied here was a short at 6am - at top of range and few breakouts at that time - but this morning seems even sleepier than yesterday and the ranges too narrow. Not worth my while I think, so I will take the day off.

Yep, I shorted both at 7, taken a few pips. Now I'm long euro because of HL on 1m chart. Enjoy your day, prepare for the New Year's Eve, have a nice party and wish you new year to be better than previous in all aspects. Both of you guys. See you next year

Hello, good to see you up early. Good trades, but I chose to stay away as the upside potential didn't justify the downside risk. For the upside I'd look to buy on retracement, but first I'd like to see what happens around 7am.

The M5 double top pattern around 6am usually means further downside, so I'd be cautious, perhaps looking for a short around 4300.
