I'm an experienced US based trader who is in the Middle East for the next half a year. Since I can't day trade my home market at this point due to time constraints, I really want to try getting into FOREX just to learn an alternative venue. Any consensus on what the best online trading course is? Also, what about trading platform?
I deposited a tiny 3-digit sum into a 10Pips account yesterday on a whim and so far I'm doing OK but I expect to lose it all eventually. I'm not even trading on a currency pair, just shorting and buying commodities (oil and natural gas look fantastic right now since the current price of oil cannot be sustainable). 10Pips kind of sucks, however, as a piece of software, and I really don't like the way the charts are done.
Anyway, I feel like I'm flying blind here and want to pony up some cash for a crash course. I also don't feel like trading with a demo account, but I definitely don't feel like losing [too much] money. Any advice is appreciated.
