Is it safe to trade during medium impact news release?

Do you guys still trade your currencies during medium news release? Is it advisable not to trade even during medium impact news release? Personally I only avoid those high impact news and will closed before the release time but I will still watch results of medium news release like a hawk.

I personally only worry about interest rate changes and non-farm payroll. Even those I only stop 30 minutes either side of the news.

Most of the time even with NFP and other major events you can draw a line across the event and except for the blip everything just continues on.
