Hello all,

This is my first post to the site but have been lurking for months. Love it.

Anyway, I have a question about FX Accucharts and since their live chat isn't active on the wekends I'm hoping you guys could help.

Whenever I create a new chart t gives it a sequential name, like "Chart1", "Chart2", etc... This makes it somewhat of a pain when alerts go off and it tells me the alert for Chart14 has triggered but I have to scan to find which pair that is.

Is there a way to rename my charts like "AUD/USD" instead of the default "Chart#" format?

Not sure if you're actually referring to a "sheet", "page", or whole new workspace when you say "chart."

For sheets or pages, simply right click on the thing and follow the "rename" option. for renaming the actual window name, go to the window button and choose the bottom option.

Pics below, and accucharts has an incredible help section. The online tutorials are worth your time to watch...

I'm talking about when I go to File -> New Document and then I pick all my settings and it creates a window with a chart in it. That chart, at least for me, is called "Chart5" or "Chart8" or whatever the next consecutive number would be. That's what I'm hoping to change to be something more descriptive.

Well, that one may be a bit tougher. That portion is actually called the "window captions" and short of toggling them on or off for display, I'm not sure what you can do with them, or how to change them, and I've never seen an option for messing with them.

I run a single pane only and toggle between the sheets or pages as needed, so not too familiar with the multi chart options.

That sounds like one for the support guys, if you can get them. Post the solution if there is one if you would... GL.

There is no way to change the title of a document window without saving it - if you save it, you can give it a (file)name
