Hello everyone,

I was wondering if someone perhaps more learned than I could suggest a broker for me. I was looking for certain criteria and have checked out many brokers but would like to see what you good people recommend.

-I'm looking for a broker that uses MT4. This is important because I've been using MT4 in my demo trading for a while and am accustomed to it and all its functions.

-I'm looking for a broker regulated in either the US, UK, Japan or Switzerland. Also, they must be willing to accept a customer from Canada. The funds should be as secure as possible.

-I'm looking for a broker who offers micro accounts as this will be my first time going live. Spreads should also be as low as possible.

-There shouldn't be any withdrawal fees or at least they should be minimal. Alpari wants $40CDN just to withdraw to a non-EU bank account. For a micro account holder, that's a hell of a lot.

As mentioned, I've considered Alpari but the $40 CDN turns me off. I've considered FXCM Micro but I don't like the TradingStation software and they only offer MT4 to their regular account holders. I've considered FXOpen until I read a thread here describing it as a bucketshop. I've looked at GFT, but again, no MT4. FXDD has constant negative reviews, and I don't like IBFX because of a past issue I had with them.

So based on that, can someone reccomend a broker so this newbie can go live and take on the forex market?
