I want to know how traders use their trading platforms while working in office.

I believe most of the companies have restrictions in downloading any additional software on work PCs.

Also, the same problem comes if someone has a travelling job like in media, marketing etc. It is difficult to get stable internet connection while travelling.

I am currently a student trying to become an internal auditor and my future job will involve lot of travelling..i am worried how will i trade while working in office or travelling?

Try a VPS. You should be able to access it from any computer with internet access.

Also, you can find a 'VNC' client for your mobile device to access your VPS as well.

Honestly, you should either devise a trading plan for long-term trades (based on a monthly or weekly duration) or quit your day job since the nature of your job requires you to travel a lot. These are the only 2 options I could think of.
I use a Windows Mobile Smartphone.

Yes thats what i am researching more.
i trade while i'm at work but my company allows me to download/install stuff on the computer. as mentioned, windows mobile will allow trading by using MT4 mobile. some brokers have a web based/java app that you can run and trade with. another method as mentioned is if you keep your home PC on at all times, then you can use logmein.com and remote into your home computer to trade.
Laptop with an Air Card (Verizon of course) I get a signal everywhere! Even while traveling in the car...

Yeah, leaving charts unattended is not a good idea. Ask boss to watch your charts from time to time while you are out of office, if I may suggest. Otherwise sound long-term strategy, sufficient capital, and conservative money management is what you need.

Trade when you're home or in the hotel. I personally don't think I would like trading on a smartphone, that's just me though. You could also do as others suggested and adapt a longer term strategy.

If not, I vote for a personal laptop with an air card.
